Story
This is Xylo... This older gentleman has been here in our shelter since July 2023, due to a housing issue. Xylo is 7+ years, and 66 lbs, he's a true shadow dog, wanting to be by your side & getting all the loving. This big guy knows sit, paw, and down. Xylo loves to please his person. He can be dog selective and is recommended to be the only pet. We are recommending he go to a home with no small children due to his strength and size.Update 4/27/24 Xylo had a suspicious growth removed last week, but thankfully the biopsy came back that it was benign (Not cancer)! Now he's back to acting like a puppy again and ready for his furever family. Primary Color: Brown Brindle Secondary Color: White Age: 9yrs 9mths 3wks

Story
Meet Rocky Balboa This strong, silent type may be nervous and unsure at first—sometimes even shaking when he meets new people—but with patience and love, he learns that he’s safe. Rocky is smoldering with deep, dark good looks and a big personality. He prefers to be the leader of his own pack, so no doggy roommates for him. Independent at heart, Rocky would thrive with an experienced owner who understands his breed and can help him shine.
