Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Juliana is about 2 years old and has been living in a devoted foster home for a year and a half.  Juliana was found with her brother Noah who has gone on to his forever home and is doing great. Juliana proved to be the more timid one and would be considered a feral dog.  In the year and a half that she has been in foster she has made some significant strides. She will need a special home and she is considered a project dog. If you have a pack of dogs and some patience she may be the dog for you  Julianna will need to go to a home with another dog or dogs and a securely fenced-in yard.     See Juliana playing here:  https://www.facebook.com/NJSHPR/videos/703925398009073 If you are interested submit an application at njshpetrescue.org * You must live within 90 minutes of Chester NJ to be considered as an in-person home visit is required for all adoptions. Age:1 Weight: 118 Location: New Hope, PA Nicknames: Melly Good with other dogs?: Yes. Mel loves all friendly dogs and would benefit from a confident K9 companion. Good with cats? unknown, will not be adopted to a home with a cat Good with children? OK for kids over: 15 Activity Preference: Needs in-house activities, Up for a long hike any day., Low maintenance overall but needs quality outside time., Will go with the flow IQ: Smart Melody's favorite things: Mel loves snacks, taking walks with her people, learning what toys are, rolling in the grass ans sunshine. Melody is good at: meeting dogs, behaving in the house, walking on a leash Ideal home: another dog, quiet environment, someone at home most of the day, a fenced yard Training Needs: socialization with people Health issues: Healthy puppy on preventatives and Wellactin Meet Melody Mel was brought to a city shelter and was extremely fearful. She is doing much better and with the right home she will continue her confidence building. She is about a year old and house trained, great on a leash, loves other dogs and NEEDS a fenced in yard. We would prefer an adult only home as she is still afraid of loud noises and lots of commotion. A confident dog would be a big plus.   PLEASE READ: Adopters will not be considered without completing an application. Please visit www.AmericanBulldogRescue.org to apply! Story
Rani was Born in June 2021. I rescued her from Tracy California when she was just 2 years old. At the time I was working in California and after I got her I moved back to Pennsylvania with Rani. Since I had her I have tried my best to train her she is very good in the house she will let you know when she's hungry or needs to go out to do her business. Growling is a way of her to communicate. She's very active. She likes to run and play seeks for attention all the time you will not be bored. She is very good inside the car. I am looking for someone who has time and resources to take care of her. She needs lots of space also she needs to be with someone who is experienced. unfortunately she is very agressive towards other animals and humans depending on the situation. I have given her private training and I would advice the new owner to keep up with the behavioral training and keep strict boundaries with her so she can live a better life with her new family.

Story
Meet Lola Danforth! Such a sweet young lady. Lola is a nearly 7-month-old supermutt mix! We aren’t sure what is in her breed mix, but she seems to be pretty large for a puppy and we think she has some mastiff in her as well as pitbull terrier or american staffordshire terrier! She is currently about 55 pounds and could possibly grow close to 100 pounds. She is perfectly crate trained and will use Potty Pads if needed. She is also working on her leash training. She has been raised around dogs, and children, she will probably be fine with Cats as well, but has not been around them. Lola and her brother were found on the side of a busy rural road by her foster mom, they are lucky to be alive! Lola is ready to go to her forever home! Please put in an application as soon as possible, if you are interested in adopting Lola, she is waiting for you. Interested in becoming a forever home to Lola Danforth? Fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we don't go any further without an application. Find more adoptable pets, news and information on Instagram @friendswithfourpaws or our Facebook page Friends with Four Paws . We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting Lola Danforth. We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and Lola Danforth, the perfect forever home, and appreciate you working with us. For immediate consideration, please attach your application to the initial inquiry to help us expedite the process. Our adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses. All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed. Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!
