Story
Age:1 Weight: 118 Location: New Hope, PA Nicknames: Melly Good with other dogs?: Yes. Mel loves all friendly dogs and would benefit from a confident K9 companion. Good with cats? unknown, will not be adopted to a home with a cat Good with children? OK for kids over: 15 Activity Preference: Needs in-house activities, Up for a long hike any day., Low maintenance overall but needs quality outside time., Will go with the flow IQ: Smart Melody's favorite things: Mel loves snacks, taking walks with her people, learning what toys are, rolling in the grass ans sunshine. Melody is good at: meeting dogs, behaving in the house, walking on a leash Ideal home: another dog, quiet environment, someone at home most of the day, a fenced yard Training Needs: socialization with people Health issues: Healthy puppy on preventatives and Wellactin Meet Melody Mel was brought to a city shelter and was extremely fearful. She is doing much better and with the right home she will continue her confidence building. She is about a year old and house trained, great on a leash, loves other dogs and NEEDS a fenced in yard. We would prefer an adult only home as she is still afraid of loud noises and lots of commotion. A confident dog would be a big plus.   PLEASE READ: Adopters will not be considered without completing an application. Please visit www.AmericanBulldogRescue.org to apply! Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Juliana is about 2 years old and has been living in a devoted foster home for a year and a half . Juliana was found with her brother Noah who has gone on to his forever home and is doing great. Juliana proved to be the more timid one and would be considered a feral dog.  In the year and a half that she has been in foster she has made some significant strides. She will need a special home and she is considered a project dog. If you have a pack of dogs and some patience she may be the dog for you  Julianna will need to go to a home with another dog or dogs and a securely fenced-in yard.     See Juliana playing here If you are interested submit an application at njshpetrescue.org * You must live within 90 minutes of Chester NJ to be considered as an in-person home visit is required for all adoptions. Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 18, 2024, 4:11 pm

Story
He is a very sweet dog but is very energetic and personal health issues and upcoming surgeries will stop me from giving him the time he deserves He loves people and has been around kids as well as small dogs and cats but wants to play more then my cats ever wanted to. He is up to date vet wise fixed and in good health. He is 14 months old. He is absolutely beautiful. He is crate trained and mostly leash trained. I think with more intense training he would be even better. But needs lots of attention and exercise. He would need a fenced in yard or a family willing to walk run him every day. He still has some puppy behavior but again with more training I think he would be absolutely an amazing dog. I love him but I just can’t take care of his energy level with my upcoming medical issues. He has been well cared for and loved. He loves bones toys stuffed animals and peanut butter in kongs. He has gotten bark box and I would give any toy food supplies to a loving family
