She’s incredibly friendly and greets everyone she meets with the happiest full-body wags. She’s house-trained, crate-trained, and potty-trained.Although walks aren’t always her favorite activity, she’s actually a great leash walker when she’s up for it. I try to encourage her to explore the outdoors, but if she’s not feeling it, she’ll make her opinion very clear. Either by doing an adorable sploot right on the floor or confidently turning around and heading straight back to the front door.Sweets can be a little shy and gets anxious around new environments or loud noises, but with patience, reassurance, and love, she’s learning to feel more comfortable. She absolutely loves treats and toys, but what she loves most is simply being close to you. Her favorite moments are the quiet ones — relaxing, cuddling, and soaking up all the affection she can get.And one of her cutest little quirks? Catch her with her tongue sticking out, and you’ll instantly see her charm. It’s impossible not to smile when Sweets is around.

Sirius is a big, sweet boy with an even bigger heart! At just 2 years old, this German Shepherd mix is already showing what a wonderful companion he can be. Once Sirius is leashed up, he’s a dream on a leash! He enjoys easy, relaxed walks and has even had a friendly parallel walk with a much smaller dog. He has done great with other dogs at the shelter but a meet-and-greet is recommended with any resident dogs to make sure it`s a good fit!Sirius is also a total sweetheart who loves affection. In the play yard, he spent much of his time leaning against his handler and soaking up all the pets he could get. He takes treats gently and calmly, and he already knows how to sit politely for them.He’s an affectionate, treat-loving, easygoing guy who would love a person or family to call his own. If you’re looking for a big lovable boy who enjoys walks, treats, and plenty of affection, Sirius may be your guy!
