Story
Hello, my name is Lily! I am a 5-year-old Mastiff mix looking for my forever home and a family to call my own. I am a sweet, friendly girl with a gentle heart. I can be a little shy when meeting new people at first, but give me a little time and I warm up pretty quickly. Once I know you’re a friend, I love being close to my people and soaking up all the love and attention I can get. I get along great with other dogs, and I even like cats too. I’m also kid friendly, which makes me a wonderful companion for many different kinds of families. Some of my favorite things include going for walks, taking car rides, and spending quality time with the people I love. I am also house trained, so I’m ready to settle right into home life. If you are looking for a loyal, loving companion to share life’s adventures and quiet moments with, I just might be the perfect girl for you. Give Heartland a call to set up a meet and greet — I would love to meet you!

Story
Duke is a smart, powerful and loving 155 pound American Mastiff. He came from the breed originator, Flying W Farms in Ohio. He is 18 months old. He has been my constant companion since December 2025, and is very well-trained. He is generally friendly towards people, but he has strong guarding traits, which makes him wary of strangers. He has never been aggressive toward people, but he can be very aggressive with other dogs. This aggressiveness typically shows when any strange dog gets near him and displays teeth, growls, or challenges. If you apply, we can discuss what has happened in the past. Suffice it to say, we no longer go to dog parks and he is not allowed off-leash near other dogs. After consulting with experts, friends and family, I have decided Duke would be better off in a rural or ranch environment where these traits are valued. He is not a dog for novices, and is not an outside dog. He needs to be on a farm, ranch, or large property. He is not a city dog.
