Story
Zues is an amazing dog. He loves to chill and hangout buy he does have a playful and energetic side. He will greet you at the door (without jumping) and loves to be pet. Super big into head and ear rubs, he even does the cute dog leg taps when you do. He’s honestly just a really good dog. Barely barks doesn’t really destroy stuff (he did chew a couple cords but learned to not do that). He loves walks, I rescued him in south Houston. He was abandoned and looked terrible but I treated his heart worms. It’s also important to note he does seem to have some skin allergy issues. He stinks a little. I bath him with this medical shampoo but he has a little problem scratching at himself so his skins been looking a little rough. I put him on allergy pills which helped but I ran out so he’s back to scratching and I hope he can find a home that helps him feel his best! He’s really is such a sweetheart you will love him!NOTE: skin issue from environment allergy. Will need to be treated. NO CATS

🎤 Exclusive Interview with Tori – Waiting for Her Perfect Family 🎤When asked why she hasn’t been adopted yet, Tori was very clear: she’s just a little picky! After all, a special girl deserves a special family. Here’s Tori’s simple list of requirements:1️⃣ Love me the way I’ll love you—unconditionally and forever.2️⃣ Make time for me with daily exercise and adventures.3️⃣ Feed me good, healthy food (treats welcome, too!).4️⃣ Let me be part of the family fun—I’m obedient and well-mannered.5️⃣ Give me at least one playful sibling with my same quite energy.6️⃣ Bonus points if you love the water—I dream of splashing on the beach and chasing waves!Tori is a beautiful brindle girl with the sweetest face and an even sweeter heart. She’s playful and silly (yes, she will sneak a sip of your coffee if you’re not watching!) but also loves nothing more than snuggling on the couch and soaking up hugs. She’s wonderful with dogs of all sizes and loves playing chase and hide-and-seek with her foster siblings. While Tori can be cautious and shy at first, once she feels safe, her loyalty and love are unmatched.✨ Tori isn’t just looking for any home—she’s holding out for the right one. Could that be you? ✨AARF Houston transports to approved adopters outside of Texas.

Story
Saved from the euthanasia list of a local area shelter. Willow was found as a stray that had been wandering for several weeks. She appears to have had puppies but is spayed. The shelter estimated that she is 3 yro. I believe she maybe a little older. She is a gentle giant. So much scrunch to her face and she doesn’t mind you grabbing on it. Willow has been the best momma dog to my two toddlers. Very patient and doesn’t seem to mind them at all. She is indifferent towards our larger female lab who is more laid back than our extremely spunky Collie. With him, she’s a little unsure. It’s possible his energy is too much for her but I believe she’s still adjusting.
