Cleo came to us from the Austin Animal Center after being rescued as a stray puppy. She’s a sweet, loyal dog who forms strong bonds with her people and loves being close to those she trusts. Once she feels comfortable, she enjoys toys, bones, bully sticks, and long naps. She love playing with other dogs. She likes car rides and baths.Cleo does best in a calm, quiet home with adults, as children are too unpredictable for her quick-to-startle nature (we have a child). She is wary around unfamiliar people and needs slow introductions. She can be anxious in loud environments and in unfamiliar situations. However, with patience, guidance, and time to build confidence, she warms up and relaxes. She enjoys having a routine and has no history of aggression or biting.Cleo is looking for an experienced adopter who can provide structure, training, and a predictable environment where she can continue to thrive. In the right home, she’ll be a loyal and loving companion.

Murphy is a gentle giant with a heart of gold. His favorite things in life are simple: comfy beds, cozy couches, sniffy walks, and spending time with his people. He's calm and easygoing around the house, but he'll happily show off his playful side when he's feeling excited. He's also done great riding elevators, making him a good companion for apartment living.While Murphy can be a little cautious in new situations and around some unfamiliar sounds, he warms up quickly and is wonderfully sweet with new people.
