Story
Lady is from a shelter. She gets her name from her favorite movie, Lady and the Tramp. She will be turning 2 in October and she is the most lovable dog ever. She loves to chill on the couch with you but also loves to run outside. She hates cats, and even has some bad thoughts about other dogs too, it just depends. She is the silliest and biggest baby. Lady’s mom is going off to the military, and while she would love to keep her, the timeline of everything and uncertainty of where she’ll end up is why she wants to make sure lady goes to a great home. Lady would thrive in a home with a backyard where she could be an inside dog.

Story
Meet Cindy! Your future lap dog. Bio: I’m Cindy, a primarily tan-colored Mastiff mix pup. At 7 weeks old, I’m tracking at a 8 lbs, and I’m expected to mature into a handsome 50 lb adult. I have a very happy, playful personality. I think toys are the best invention ever, and I spend a lot of time interacting with my sisters and playing with the adult dog in my foster home. But don't let my playful side fool you—I am a true lap dog at heart and love to sit right on my humans. My Progress: House Training: I’m remarkably well potty trained for a puppy this young. I still have the normal, expected puppy accident here and there, but I'm learning fast. Crate Training: I’m currently in the process of becoming crate trained and doing great. Other Animals: I'm highly social and do excellent with other dogs. If you have a basket of toys and a free lap, I’m ready to join your family. Apply to adopt me today!May 30, 2026, 2:07 am

Story
Hi, I'm Cassy! Let's play! I’m a 7-week-old cream-colored Mastiff mix, and I currently weigh about 8 lbs. My foster thinks I’ll grow to be around 50 lbs, so I’m going to be a great size for both outdoor adventures and indoor lounging.  I am a very playful girl with average energy. I love my toys, wrestling with my sisters, and chasing the resident adult dog around the house. Once I’ve burned off my puppy energy, my favorite thing to do is climb right onto your lap for a nap. My Progress: House Training: I’m doing really well for my age! I understand the concept, though I’m still a baby and will have the occasional accident inside while I finish learning. Crate Training: I’m currently learning to love my crate and am making great progress. Other Animals: I love interacting with other dogs.  If you're looking for a playful, affectionate pup who promises to stay a lap dog even when I hit 50 lbs, apply to meet me!May 30, 2026, 2:07 am

Story
Cathy here! Ready for my forever family. My name is Cathy. I’m a 7-week-old Mastiff mix, currently weighing 8 lbs and expected to be about 50 lbs fully grown. You can spot me easily because I have a unique coat—mostly cream with a cool splash of black color right across my back. I’m a social, high-spirited pup who loves teamwork. I spend my days playing with my sisters, sharing toys, and hanging out with the big dog in my foster home. I’m very affectionate and will head straight for your lap the second I'm ready to wind down. My Progress: House Training: I am pretty well potty trained for 7 weeks old! I try my best to go outside, but my new family should expect a few normal puppy accidents while I fully master it. Crate Training: My foster family is helping me become crate trained, and I'm catching on quick. Other Animals: I am fantastic with other dogs and love to play. Ready for a loyal, toy-loving best friend? Fill out an application and ask for Cathy!May 30, 2026, 2:07 am

🎤 Exclusive Interview with Tori – Waiting for Her Perfect Family 🎤When asked why she hasn’t been adopted yet, Tori was very clear: she’s just a little picky! After all, a special girl deserves a special family. Here’s Tori’s simple list of requirements:1️⃣ Love me the way I’ll love you—unconditionally and forever.2️⃣ Make time for me with daily exercise and adventures.3️⃣ Feed me good, healthy food (treats welcome, too!).4️⃣ Let me be part of the family fun—I’m obedient and well-mannered.5️⃣ Give me at least one playful sibling with my same quite energy.6️⃣ Bonus points if you love the water—I dream of splashing on the beach and chasing waves!Tori is a beautiful brindle girl with the sweetest face and an even sweeter heart. She’s playful and silly (yes, she will sneak a sip of your coffee if you’re not watching!) but also loves nothing more than snuggling on the couch and soaking up hugs. She’s wonderful with dogs of all sizes and loves playing chase and hide-and-seek with her foster siblings. While Tori can be cautious and shy at first, once she feels safe, her loyalty and love are unmatched.✨ Tori isn’t just looking for any home—she’s holding out for the right one. Could that be you? ✨AARF Houston transports to approved adopters outside of Texas.
