Story
Jake was found wandering the streets when he was about 6 months old. He is a very adoptable dog. Very easy going and gets along with other dogs. He should be good with kids but he is almost 100# so would be better with bigger kids. He walks well on a leash.

Story
Sheldon is 12 months old and had him since he was born. As much as I don't want to have to separate him from his sister. I dont have much of a choice. He's a type of dog that needs a lot of attention and I have no way of giving that to him. I work 12 hr shifts and am gone for around 14 hrs of the day. I tried my best to find excuses to keep him but realize that he needs someone that can spend more time with him then I can. Sheldon is extremely friendly and gets along with anyone. For being a lazy breed he has a lot of energy. He loves walks and going outside and dog parks. He is very friendly with other dogs as well.

Story
She is the perfect dog, almost.Violet is a sweet girl who is eager to please and excited to learn and experience new things. Every person who has met her has fallen in love with her. She has a wonderful personality and a heartwarming smile. She has been attending group classes and has been doing well being handled by other confident people.Violet warms more quickly to women and she needs someone who will take the time to build a trusting relationship and help her continue to build confidence, but once that is established, she will be your best friend. She is a little unsure of men but is learning to be more trusting and is warming much more quickly these days. Violet is always ready to go and do but is also content to lay and be calm, especially if she has something to chew on. She has made good decisions, so far, on appropriate items for chewing. She is an aggressive chewer so you should be mindful of this when providing her with things to chew on. Violet has been getting out in the community more and walks beautifully on leash with the occasional reminder when there is a distraction. Violet is potty trained, and crate trained. We believe that, at this time, Violet would do best in an active home as an only animal and without children. She has come a long way and we have no doubt that she will continue to shine with guidance. -Walks very well on leash-Active but willing to be calm-Crate trained-Potty trained-Eager to please -Training continues to progress-Not tested with children-Not fully tested with other animals but can ignore them with guidance-Slow to warm with men-Needs a confident person who will take the time to build trustTo meet me, please fill out an adoption application on https://www.hartrescue.com/adoption-process

Story
Winslow maybe 11 years young but he still has so much life in him. He plays with his foster brother Beemo, both saved from a high kill shelter of Houston. Winslow is a very sweet, calm, extremely loving big baby, who enjoys hanging out in his foster mom's yard, and lay around in the sun. He is also very obedient, housebroken, extremely intelligent, and gorgeous. He doesn't have any guarding tendency and is very submissive. He will do great in a quiet home, with or without another dog. Winslow is about 11 years old, 60 lb, has all his shots, and is neutered, microchipped and kept on heartworm and flea preventative. He is being fostered in Texas, but can travel to many states and even Canada for the right home. To meet this adorable pup, please send a completed application via www.savesomesouls.com
