Operation Pets Alive! is a non-profit, all-volunteer organization dedicated to working with people and government to provide life-saving, no-kill programs to our community (Montgomery County, Texas) through innovative programs that: •Raise community awareness; •Reduce the number of dogs and cats that enter our shelters; •Increase the number of dogs and cats that leave our shelters alive.

Additional adoption info

The adoption fees are as follows:
Dogs: Puppies up to 6 mos old: $250
Dogs over 6 mos old: $185
Senior Dogs 8 yrs old or older: $150
Adoption fee includes being dewormed, current on vaccinations (first two DAPPs for puppies), heartworm tested (>6mo), spayed/neutered and rabies vaccination and microchip.
Cats: less than 6 mos old: $125
6 mos and older: $100
Senior cats 8 yrs or older: $80
Adoption fee includes being dewormed, current on vaccinations, combo tested (exemptions for litters), spayed/neutered and micrcochip.
Texas Barn Cats: Two cats for $50 each with each additional cat for $30 - includes spayed/neutered, ear tipping, FVRCP and 1 year rabies. All fees include the required sales tax for animals adopted from rescue organizations.
