My name is Autty, and before we go any further, I need you to know something very important: I am a tiny baby puppy. Now, the humans keep telling me that I’m a 55-pound Mastiff mix and that at only 6 months old, I’m going to get even bigger. Honestly, I don’t know where they’re getting their information because I’m clearly a lap dog. A very large lap dog. A lap enthusiast, if you will. My energy level is about a 6 out of 10, which means I’m always ready for fun but also appreciate a good nap after I’ve thoroughly inspected every toy in the house. Speaking of toys… I LOVE THEM. Tennis balls? Amazing. Squeaky toys? Incredible. Stuffed toys? Life-changing. If it can be tossed, chased, squeaked, carried, or proudly paraded around the house, I’m interested. I’m also a social butterfly. I absolutely adore other dogs and play nicely with everyone. No drama. No attitude. No resource guarding. I’ll happily share my toys, my space, and probably your personal bubble too. I’m very treat motivated and already know how to sit. In my professional opinion, training is a fantastic activity because it usually involves snacks. Now, let’s discuss my one tiny flaw. Actually… let’s call it an area for growth. When I get excited—which is often because life is AMAZING—I sometimes forget that I am not, in fact, an 8-pound puppy. I may enthusiastically launch myself toward new friends with all the joy contained in my giant body. My foster family lovingly refers to this as a “bull in a china shop” situation. I don’t mean any harm. I just love people SO MUCH that my entire body wants to celebrate. Because of my size and enthusiasm, I’d do best in a home without small children and with people who can continue teaching me that greetings don’t require full-body airborne maneuvers. The good news? I’m smart, eager to learn, and highly motivated by treats, praise, toys, snacks, more snacks, and basically any form of positive attention. I’m also potty trained, have a healthy appetite, and wake up every day convinced it’s the best day ever. My perfect family will appreciate that I’m still very much a puppy in a very large package. I’ll need guidance, training, exercise, and lots of love as I grow into the amazing dog I’m becoming. So if you’ve been searching for a joyful, goofy, oversized puppy with a heart as big as her paws, I think we should meet. I’ll bring the toys. You bring the treats.
