Story
Meet Alex! He's a small mixed breed, about 11 lbs and 3-4 years old. Picked up as a stray, Alex was scared and stressed out. He was able to go into a temporary foster home for a few days and this is what his foster momma had to say. “Alex is a good boy who loves to snuggle with his person. He's a quiet and chill little guy most of the time, but does love a good crinkly toy. When it's time to eat or go outside, he spins with joy and anticipation. Alex is a bit fearful of cats, but got close enough to nicely sniff my girl, Sundae. He is potty-trained, but did have one piddle accident near my back door because I didn't get there quick enough. He does alright in a crate, but much prefers to be with his person. Alex is a bit nervous about being picked up, but will tolerate it. Once up, he's comfortable being held.” Alex needs a quiet home with no small children. He really isn’t into puppy shenanigans or “in your face” type of dogs. Come check out our adoptable dogs at 2650 Washington Blvd, Crescent City, CA 95531. Kennels are open Mon-Fri, 9AM-3:30PM, or by appointment.
