Meet Levy Levy is an adorable, brindle dachshund–pit mix, about 5 years old and 30 pounds of pure charm, with short little legs, slightly turned-out feet, and a body that seems designed purely for joy and comedy. He’s low to the ground, missing one tiny bottom front tooth, and somehow even cuter because of it. He’s hilarious without trying. A total clown. The kind of dog who feels like he should be yelling “TAWANDA!” as he launches himself off a riverbank with complete confidence and zero concern for physics. Levy is sweet, affectionate, and genuinely good with everyone. He loves his toys, loves his people, and brings this quiet but constant sense of fun wherever he goes. He’s got a big personality packed into a compact, brindle, hot-dog-shaped body — just a quirky little guy with endless charm. Levy is neutered, fully vetted, vaccinated, and microchipped, and more than ready to settle into his next chapter. He’s the kind of dog who makes you laugh every single day, who turns ordinary moments into stories, and who feels like a true character rather than just a pet. Foster, foster to adopt, or adopt Lincoln! Lincoln is a super sweet, loveable, 21 lb goofball. He was in very rough shape when he entered the shelter in Central California - for the second time in November (no fault of his own!!), and due to being a staff favorite, fortunately made his way out of the shelter system quickly and found himself at the REAL Bark rescue. After being in a loving foster for a few months, Lincoln has shown us what a wonderful boy he is, and at the still youthful age of 10, is full of life, love and excitement about the world. He is very food motivated, and gets extra excited around mealtimes, puzzle toys, a good bone, and happily joins in multiple short walks during the day. He loves getting cuddles + pets, and loves a good snooze. He’s overall just a really sweet boy and loves all people and dogs. He has some standard senior maintenance needs and his foster has built a wonderful manual to help his forever home maintain his comfort. He is ready to find that third forever home (3 is a charm!) to take him through his wonderful Golden years, where he will give back so much love to his people. We love seniors - they are the best, the wisest, and the loveliest and Lincoln is all of that! Please note that we are currently set up to adopt within the Los Angeles county area.
