Please contact Melissa A Aten (melissaa@luckydoganimalrescue.org) for more information about this pet.Royalty of CutenessPRINCE WOLFIE NEEDS A FOREVER HOME!!!!   Come meet Prince Wolfie and other great adoptable dogs this Sunday (April 28th) from 12-3 pm at the Petsmart in Silver Spring (12020 Cherry Hill Rd, Silver Spring, MD 20904)!       Name:  Prince Wolfie            Best Guess for Breed:  Miniature Pinscher/Terrier      Best Guess for Age:  7 weeks as of 4/12           SEX:  Male   Estimated Weight (puppies' weights change quickly!): 4lbs as of 4/5   Gets Along With:  Most puppies are in the prime of their socialization window and will do well with other dogs, cats and kids so long as they receive patience and proper training.   Currently Living at:  DC area foster home   Check out this video of Prince Wolfie: https://youtu.be/ju3_U1fmyEk.   Special Adoption Considerations:  Puppies under 6 months of age need to have multiple potty breaks/exercise throughout the day. Potential adopters with a standard 8-hour workday must be willing to make arrangements to meet the needs of their puppy.  Prince Wolfie is Looking For: Hiya! I'm Prince Wolfie! Me and my littermates, Princess Serafina and Prince Midas, have loved our time in the puppy pile, but we are each ready to pack our bags and find our very own forever home! I'm looking for a home that will let me play with toys and get my puppy zoomies out and give me snuggles in between playtimes. When I'm a little older, I can't wait to explore my new neighborhood on lots of walks, and I'd really like to make a bunch of doggie friends along the way. Oh, and I should probably take a puppy obedience class or two so I can show you how smart I am. What do you say? Do you have room in your heart for me? What My Foster Says About Me: Prince Wolfie is full of personality! He loves to run around in the yard and play with his toys. PW prefers to be played with, rather than held, but will eventually settle down to sleep by your side. He loves to burrow underneath sheets/blankets, and is very food motivated! After a little contesting, he sleeps through the night, and wakes up around 8, ready to go out and go potty. We have two resident dogs, one 90lbs and one 12lbs — both of which he is curious about, but is very respectful of their space and is yet to try and engage.  Puppy Vetting Requirements:        Lucky Puppies have had their age appropriate vaccines, but may not yet be “fully” vaccinated. It is the adopter’s responsibility to ensure that the remaining puppy vaccines are given at the appropriate time. Please also keep in mind that, until your puppy is fully vaccinated, they are at greater risk for illness than an adult dog.      Due to this puppy’s young age, she/he has not yet been spayed or neutered.  As part of the adoption contract, it will be your responsibility, as the adopter, to ensure that this is done no later than August 22, 2024. There are NO EXCEPTIONS and NO EXTENSIONS to this date. A non-refundable spay/neuter deposit will be collected if you would like Lucky Dog to pay for this animal to be spayed/neutered at one of our low cost partner vets.   Your new puppy will need to work on their house training and will also need to go to obedience school so they can grow into a well-socialized dog!  TO ADOPT:       The adoption fee for this puppy is $485, which includes the cost of routine vetting and transport from the shelter.    If you are interested in adopting, please complete the Adoption Questionnaire online bit.ly/adoptaluckydog   Lucky Dog Animal Rescue does our best to provide accurate information about the dogs we have for adoption. We do not have a shelter. CDCK has a thorough adoption process to find the best possible fit for each of our dogs and cats (we do not operate under a first-come, first-served model). Upon accepting a new cat or dog into the organization, we provide a basic vet visit that includes necessary vaccinations, disease screenings, deworming, microchips, and spay/neuter for dogs six months and older. We do not provide a comprehensive medical exam before adoption. As a result, sickness, injury, and disability may exist unbeknownst to CDCK. City Dogs & City Kitties Rescue is not responsible for payment of any vet care, including known and unknown medical conditions once a cat or dog is adopted from us. Dog specific: Rabies, DHPP,Lepto and Bordetella vaccines. They are tested for HW, Lyme, Ehrlichia, Anaplasmosis. Most cats and dogs will have a house-training accident in the initial days in their new home and we cannot guarantee any pet is housebroken or crate trained.

Good with dogs,
Story
Female, 13 years old, 10 lbs Good with: Dogs Not tested with: Cats, Kids House trained: Mostly Energy level: Moderate (she’s playful and spry for her age!) Noise level: Medium Hey there, I'm Daisy – your new four-legged best friend! Despite my age, I'm still as playful and spry as a pup. I absolutely love going for walks, and guess what? I can keep up with the younger dogs with no problem. So, if you're an active soul, I'm your perfect match! Now, let's talk about my other love – food! I'm a bit of a foodie, and I'll make sure you never forget when it's time to chow down. I'm what they call a Velcro dog – meaning, I like to stick close to my humans. I'd be over the moon if you're the kind of person who takes me everywhere or works from home. I thrive on companionship, and being by your side is my favorite place to be. I generally come when called and I do great on a leash, but I could use some additional training when it comes to learning how to sit/stay. Now, I've got to be honest – I'm mostly potty trained, but every now and then, there might be a little accident. I hope you can forgive me for that. We all have our moments, right? Here's a heads up – I'm not a fan of the car. So, if you're planning any road trips, I might not be the ideal travel buddy. But hey, we can always find other fun things to do together. In a nutshell, I'm Daisy, a lovable, food-loving, and energetic dog ready to bring joy to your home. If you're on the lookout for a loyal companion for walks and a buddy to keep you company at home, I'm your girl! I can’t wait to find my forever home where I can share all the love I’ve got to give! My foster guardian says: “ Daisy is very cute and sweet and at times funny and goofy (for example, a few times she has danced around my dog and rubbed herself up against her). She also likes to roll around and rub things like couch cushions. She also likes to scratch and burrow and roll around on towels, sheets, shirts, small rugs, etc that are on the floor.”   Likes: Burrowing, rawhide sticks, hanging with you! Dislikes: Cars; when my people leave! My ideal home: I’d love a home where I can be treated like a queen to live out my golden years. I'd do best in a home without children, or older children that can respect my space. Adoption Application : http://bit.ly/adoptrdr Foster Application :  https://rdr.formstack.com/forms/foster_app   My adoption fee includes: Spay/Neuter Surgery (unless I'm too to young!) Overall wellness exam Current on all core vaccines (including DHPP & rabies) Microchip Current on flea & tick and heartworm preventatives   Interested in adopting a rescue dog?
