Story
Name: NoahBreed: MinPin Sex/Age/Weight: Male/ estimated DOB 07/2025 /11 lbsVetting: Fully vetted, heartworm negative, and microchipped. Is receiving flea/tick prevention and heartworm prevention monthly.House trained/Crate Trained: Noah is excellent in a crate. He has been with foster since 8 weeks old. He has not ever had an accident in his crate. He uses a doggy door and only has issues going out in heavy rain. Dogs/Cats/Children: Noah is living with dogs of all sizes and ages, and everyone is friendly. He has been around young children and does well. He is a jumper and we are working on that. Noah has not been observed around cats but can be tested upon request. Energy Level: Basically he has typical puppy energy. He loves toys and to play with others. Before FAR/My History: I was 1 of 2 puppies being given away at a flea market. This gentleman and his friend each took one of us. Only problem is the gentleman that took me could not have dogs. Through a friend he met my foster mom who fosters for FAR. She tells me all the time I hit the jackpot!Training Status/Commands I know: I know my name, and respond and come when called almost all the time. Learning what no means. I also am learning to share the toys.Working on: We are working on walking on a leash and being a good friend to all my friends. Things I like: Playing with any sort of toys! LOVES playing with other dogs. Things I don’t like: Going out to potty in storms or heavy rain.Things that make my humans happy: When I get a lot of playtime and I am all tuckered out, and snuggling with my foster mom! He seems to just love and want to be around people all the time!Ideal Family/Home: Noah is a very smart little guy, he picks up on things quickly. He is active and playful but sleeps well when everyone else naps. Sleeps in a crate and sleeps a good 7-8 hours nightly with no accidents. He would probably do great with any playmate. If you are interested in giving Noah a forever home, please visit the link below to fill out an application! http://fureverafterrescue.org/adoption-application.html It is best to submit an application through a computer. Story
Topper was rescued from a South Atlanta animal shelter.  She was quite shy the first few days, so we gave her some space and she began to seek us out after about 4 days.  After a few weeks, she follows us and seeks affection.  She is very sweet and silly.  Topper is 6 yrs old weighs 16 lbs. and looks like a mini German Shepherd.  She will come inside when called for her food and bed time, but she really enjoys playing in the yard with her canine friends.  She loves her dry kibble and is not a picky eater.  She needs to learn to take treats gently though, watch those fingers!  When her foster mom is loving on other dogs, she'll yip and tug your pants leg!  She wants ALL your love, and we are working to correct that behavior.  We only crate Topper when she's eating.  However, we do baby gate her when nobody is home. When you pick her up, she'll lay her head on your shoulder and melt your heart instantly. Alcovy dogs are spayed/neutered, up to date on all vaccines, up to date on heart-worm preventative and flea preventative and micro-chipped. If interested in adoption, please complete an online application on Alcovy Pet Rescue's website at www.alcovypet.com. You must have a vet reference to adopt. We verify the care of past/current pets.
