This sweet little girl came in with her sister, Lindsey, and they are both heartworm positive.  She is currently undergoing treatment and she responding well.  We are hoping some local will want to adopt her  and oversee her treatment .  We will cover all the expenses involved.   Treatment will be complete in 2-3 months.  Anyone out there willing to take on just a little extra work for this beautiful girl?   Our foster tells us that she is a definite cuddle bug.  she is leash trained and  ##2558957##

Hi, I am lavender I was rescued by animal control and given a second chance. The very next day I welcomed a litter of puppies into the world and then I was transferred to the Humane Society where my pups and I found safety and refuge. I then was placed with an incredible foster who has showered me and my pups with unconditional love and care. I am about 2 years old I am good with cats, dogs and I'm proud to say I'm completely housebroken my favorite thing is to snuggle up with my foster parents.To adopt this pet, please go to hsnwga.org, 'Adoption' then 'Application for Adoption', to complete an online application to be preapproved. Due to the high volume of applications received, our Adoption Coordinator will only contact the applicant that best meets the needs of the pet.
