Story
Meet adorable Cosmo! This quirky little gem, actually joined our Rescue in March of 2022. He was adopted by a family, who after 2 years dumped him in a not so great area. As his foster both times, I can say, he is just the sweetest little nugget. He loves to snuggle up tight and bootie rubs are his weakness. He's a little quirky, as he will run in circles, the live long day. We did have a battery of tests done when he 1st came to Rescue. The conclusion was he spent the majority of his puppy hood in a crate and that attributed to his pacing. Cosmo is 4 years old and a whopping 14lbs. I'm not going to lie he tried to mark in the house, most likely because of my males. I use a belly band on him but it's never been soiled. He does go to the door and barks for potty time and has had zero mishaps in 2 weeks. Cosmo, is a bight spot in my day, his expressions are priceless. His crazy hair earned his name, as Cosmo Kramer from the Seinfeld show. To me it just adds to his cuteness. I have no doubts that Cosmo will bring love and laughter to his new family. Adding, he is dog, cat, and kid-friendly. He absolutely adores children and is great on a leash. https://airtable.com/shrSbfFkCdeRMtZw2?fbclid=IwAR2Q_R2qh2bk6pwcDPnrL8722wGTJORafSAWJObVLvz0g6ASJOFxLIdvsRw

Story
I took her in at the beginning ing of September because she was dropped in the country. She’s approximately 8-9 months and isn’t expected to be over 25lbs. She is super sweet, loves to cuddle, and follows you everywhere. I have a dog and cat already and she plays with both, but my cat is not adjusting. She’s been around kids with no issue and really just wants someone to momma her. We are almost fully potty trained, but accidents do happen, although she typically has them in the potty pad.

**Think this dog might be for you? The first step is to complete an application: http://www.mominpinrescue.org/p/adoption-application_30.html We do not arrange transport for our dogs. If your application is approved, you will be required to come to us to pick up your dog.** Coco is 11 years old and she's diabetic, but not on a special diet, as per our vet's recommendation. Her insulin dosage is 5 units of 40u insulin once a day with breakfast. She absolutely loves all food and treats, but with diabetes, the amount she eats each day would need to be carefully controlled! She has diminished eyesight in one eye, but so far, her other eye is clear. She will follow her person around the house and is almost always in the same room. After a while, she will really warm up and is quite affectionate. However, because of this, she would probably do best in a home where she is the only dog because she gets territorial of her space with her person. Not physically aggressive, but a lot of barking. She will also bark at your face when she wants your attention and to be petted. Because of her diabetes, she is mostly pad trained, but she will not hold it, so she needs someone with patience and preferably very free access to a fenced-in yard. Someone who is home with her most of the time would be ideal. Located in St. Louis, her adoption fee is $65..

If your application is approved, you will be required to come to us to pick up your dog.** Louie was surrendered to rescue after his family was no longer able to care for him. He was estimated to be 14 years old, but truthfully, he doesn't seem to be that old, as spry as he is. He runs in the yard with the other dogs and is a good boy. He is bigger than the average Min Pin, at about 25 pounds. He is great with other dogs, would be okay with kids, and has not been cat-tested. He has had a much-needed dental, his bloodwork was excellent, and he had never been neutered, so that was just done, also. He is microchipped, and fully vaccinated. He has a docked tail, but his ears are natural. Louie is a senior looking for a senior! He is in St. Louis, and his adoption fee is $75.
