Spoiler: she doesn't. She just has a lot of opinions and a lot of energy. Hi there! My name is Olive, and I'm a 13-year-old Chihuahua mix with a big heart and a very important request: Do you have room on your lap for two? You see, I come as a package deal with my best friend, Maya! We've been together our whole lives, and we're a bonded pair looking for a new home where we can stay together. Sadly, our beloved mom passed away, and now we need someone new to share all our love with. I'm an affectionate, adventurous little lady who loves going for walks, meeting new people, and, most importantly, snuggling! Maya and I are professional lap warmers, and if you sit down, you can pretty much count on one of us climbing aboard. We were even lucky enough to sleep in bed with our mom, so we're hoping our new family enjoys nighttime cuddles too. I'm housetrained, love having a doggy door, and can manage stairs and car rides without a problem. I do enjoy my walks! We have lived with other dogs successfully, but we may need a little time to settle in with new canine friends. Our favorite thing would be to be your one and onlys. Peach is an 8 year old, 9 pound mannerly lady Chihuahua mix. She is a loving lap girl and will fill your heart with joy. She is fostered in Tigard, OR. She is house trained on a good schedule, crate trained, and is a good little walker. We are seeking a home with fenced yard for Peach. She needs a great potty routine. She is crate trained for nighttime and enjoys her open-doored crate for resting. Peach has a spunky, sweet and loving personality. She is excited to start a new day when greeted and will bark, but is not otherwise a barker. She is spayed, vaccinated, micro-chipped, had a dental one year ago, is heartworm negative, and has lab work. She comes with her own belongings: harness, crate, leash, stuffy, bed. Peach gets along with other dogs, but would also love being the only apple of your eye. A great home and must haves for this sweet little lady include: 1. A home with fenced yard where she can potty under cover in the rain and where she is not alone long hours. 2. Jenga was rescued out of California when her owner could not take care of her and a group of dogs they owned. We welcomed Jenga and one other dog from the group and are so glad we did - they are truly sweet, loving dogs hopeful for a fresh start on life. - Approximately 1 year old. Still very puppy-like, active, goofy, lots of exploring, everything is interesting and new to her. - 8 pounds and full grown - Possibly a Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher mix - Good with other dogs and cats. Fostered with cats and does well. She mostly avoids the cats. - Kids ages 10+ if there are children in the home. - Can be a little shy at first but treats really help to garner her interest in new friends. - Super devoted to her people and bonds quickly. In typical small dog fashion, Jenga loves to be right with her person, a little shadow. - Doing moderately well with her potty habits. She has been in rescue with us one week and is adjusting to the inclement weather. She will need continued routine and supervision to keep her potty training progress moving forward. - Loves to be held and snuggle with her person - Sleeps in bed with her foster mom - Working on crate training - Learning to walk on leash. We don't think Jenga was ever taken for walks by her previous owner. - Not barky so far. Fairly quiet dog. - Good for car rides. Learning that they mean going fun places. No car sickness noted. Spidey was left in a homeless shelter in California and abandoned by his owner. Sadly, this poor little guy endured some trauma and was so scared when our rescue partner went to pick him up from the homeless shelter about a month ago. But Spidey is a resilient little pup and has been doing excellent in foster. We have watched his fear lessen and his playful and affectionate side come out! - Approximately 6 months old (he just lost a puppy tooth) - 9.75 pounds. We believe Spidey will likely be around 11-12 pounds full grown. - Possibly a Chihuahua/Miniature Pinscher mix. Spidey is a handsome chocolate brown color with white markings. He is a taller, leggy little guy. - Good with other dogs and loves to play. He especially likes the smaller female dog in his foster home and they play and cuddle together. - Good with cats and fostered with two kitties. - Previously fostered with kids ages 3 years and 13 years old. Spidey really loved the 13 year old boy in the home and he was appropriate with the 3 year old child who has learned to be gentle with dogs. - Cuddle bug! Spidey with nestle right under the covers and take a nap with you. He's a great couch buddy for TV time. - Doing good on leash walks. He can be a little hesitant but he follows along with his foster mom and the other dogs. He also enjoys being carried in a cozy cross-body dog bag on his foster mom's chest. - Doing good with potty habits. He may have a couple accidents initially on the first day or two but once he's settled in, his potty habits become reliable. Spidey is vaccinated, neutered, microchipped, dewormed and current on flea/tick/heartworm prevention.
