Click here to see a video of him: https://www.facebook.com/share/v/1CPAACTqGv/ 🌱 Not Broken. Just Blooming Slowly. 🌱 Meet Andy Location: Lexington, SC Name: Andy (he doesn’t respond to this yet — we’re still figuring out what name feels like “him” 🐾) Age: ~1 year Breed: Dachshund mix? Min Pin mix? Unsure. He’s 11 lbs, long-bodied like a dachshund, just with his own adorable ears. 💛 M/F: Male Spayed/Neutered/Shots: ✔️ Neutered ✔️ UTD on rabies, DHPP & bordetella ✔️ Heartworm negative & on prevention ✔️ Flea prevention ✔️ Dewormed ✔️ Microchipped Good with dogs, cats, and/or kids: He has done well with everything he has met so far 🐶🐱 He is a softer, sensitive little guy and would likely do best in a calmer home where he can continue building confidence at his own pace. Aggression or medical issues?: No aggression at all. He does have a cherry eye that does not bother him and requires no treatment. Reason for rehoming?: Found as a stray and pulled from Columbia Animal Services. Now safe and decompressing. 💛 House/crate trained?: Yes! 🙌 He is house trained. His crate is his little safe space and he will go there when he feels overwhelmed, but he is not destructive and does not have potty issues when left out. Additional info/story (personality): Andy is a gentle, tender-hearted little soul. It took about 48 hours for him to approach me on his own, and every single day he gets a little braver. 💛 He doesn’t seem fearful — just unsure and taking everything in. He allows me to pick him up to go outside and patiently waits (sometimes a little shaky), but he is trying so hard. 🥹 He has started scooting closer and closer for “cuddles” — he slept at my feet last night and has even snuck up beside me a couple of times just to check me out.💛 He hasn’t marked, does decent on a leash (may pause when overwhelmed), and he never skips a meal 😂 He just needs a kind, patient home that will let him continue blooming. Once he bonds, he is going to be incredibly loyal and attached to his person. 🐾 📩 Message or comment if interested! Please include Andy’s name when messaging since we’re helping several dogs right now. Adoption application & contract required to ensure the best home possible. 💛

Story
PLEASE ONLY APPLY IF INTERESTED FOR BOTH CHARLES AND HOLLY Charles and Holly were found together and are a bonded pair. They have a real ‘will-they, won’t-they’ thing going on; they’re just seeing where things go and don’t want to put a label on it! Charles is the definition of a lap dog. If he has access to your lap, that is where he will be! He’s definitely a love bug. We are working on getting Charles neutered and will update once that happens. Unfortunately, they were found in our neighborhood so we do not know if they are up-to-date on shots. Willing to do a 7-day trial with both dogs.
