Story
Meet Luke, a lively and loving Miniature Pinscher with a big heart wrapped in a tiny package. With his confident trot and expressive eyes, Luke is full of personality and charm. He’s a curious little adventurer who loves to explore the world around him, especially if it involves time in the yard where he can soak up the sun and patrol like it’s his personal kingdom. Luke has experience living with his sister, another small dog, and does well in a home with other canine companions. He knows how to share space, play nicely, and fit into a household routine. He would thrive in an active home where there’s plenty to do and people to love—he’s happiest when he’s included in daily life and given the attention he so adores. What truly sets Luke apart is his deep love for his people. He’s a cuddler at heart and will gladly leap into your lap for affection or follow you from room to room just to stay close. Luke is looking for a forever home filled with love, activity, and companionship. In return, he promises unwavering loyalty, endless cuddles, and a joyful spirit that will brighten your every day. Why adopt from Three Little Pitties? The stray and animal overpopulation in the Greater Houston area is the highest in the nation. Statistics show that there are over 1 million homeless animals in this region alone. Three Little Pitties Rescue is a nonprofit dog and cat rescue that partners with the community to make a difference. Our mission is to reduce the homeless pet population through community outreach, free spay and neuter services, and saving all breeds of dogs and cats from the streets or animal shelters that oftentimes have no other option but to euthanize animals for space. This dog you’ve found online is lucky to be in our program, and even luckier to have you notice it! Three Little Pitties wants to set you and your new pet up for success! We know our dogs and we work hard to prepare them socially for adoption. We are a network of dedicated people who are heavily invested in seeing our animals thrive. From the moment they are accepted into our program, our Intake, Behavior & Medical teams prepare them for adoption by properly vetting, behaviorally assessing, and providing customized plans depending on the dog’s needs. We seek to adopt to families who understand that these are rescue dogs and will require continued training efforts, but will be well on their way to being the best dogs that they can be! It doesn’t stop there! Our adopters also receive these special perks: • 30 day trial of pet insurance with Trupanion (must register within 24 hours of first vet appt.) • A free private online dog training session with GoodPup plus low pricing for future sessions (approx $25 weekly for an 8 week course of one session per week) • One free bonus toy in every BarkBox when signing up for their Super Chewer subscription plan • 70% off of your first order of Fetch, a PNW based, organic fresh dog food loaf meal subscription plan • Coupons for a fun visit to Petco • Access to our exclusive FB Adopters page, where you can network for play dates, resources, and connect with other adopters that share their passion for their adopted pup! We celebrated our 5 year anniversary this year! Through the combined efforts of all of our hardworking staff and volunteers, we have placed over 12,000 very lucky dogs and cats into amazing homes! By adopting from us, you save TWO lives! The pet you adopt, and you create an opportunity for another animal to be saved in that spot. Together, we can be heroes. Story
Ella was adopted as a rescue from a local shelter in 2016. At the time it was evident that Ella had already carried puppies. We were unsure of her age, but assume approximately 2 years. That makes her now roughly 10-12 years old. We have done DNA testing and Ella has a little bit of everything as a part of her make up! Ella does not have any health issues & does not have any history of health concerns. Her DNA test came back negative for any degenerative concerns. Ella is a very sweet dog and has a caring temperament. Ella is full of energy all the time and maintains a pretty steady level of anxiety. She has been trained & exercised consistently. Ella sleeps in her kennel ~10 hours/night. We are only interested in adopting Ella to someone who has time to give her exercise and loving care. We love Ella a lot, but her needs exceed what we are able to provide as we have other pets and young children. Ella is comfortable staying at a boarding facility when we travel & enjoys other dogs.

Story
Hi! My name is Sweet Pea! I'm called that because I'm as sweet as they come! I am initially a scared girl but once I feel safe and I know you are my friend I will give you love and loyalty, bonus if you offer up extra good treats! I'm currently working on wearing a collar or being on a leash. I've had a few bad experiences with them, so I'm looking for a home with a fenced in yard until I'm comfortable with them. I am a little 18lb min pin mix and I love to run and do zoomies with the other little dog in my foster home - I would be happiest with the companionship of another similar sized dog to play with and help show me the ropes. I'm hoping someone can see the potential I have and will be willing to give me time and space to feel comfortable. I would do best in a home with no kids or older children who know how to respect a dog's space. I may do fine with dog-savvy cats. I am house and crate trained and would love to be your loyal shadow. Might you have the time and love to help me become my very best dog?My adoption fee is $200. I am fully vetted- spayed, microchipped, vaccinated, dewormed and health checked. To apply to adopt me please visit caws.org. Thank you!
