I figured now was a good time to give Holly her own adoption post! If you are looking for a little lap dog, Holly is not the girl for you! 😅 This girl has energy! Holly loves to play play play! She loves a squeaky toy, a ball, or your missing sock. She is extremely food motivated and catches on quickly with the use of training treats. A home that is interested in trick training, agility, or other dogs sports would probably be an amazing fit for her. Holly goes easily into her crate with the use of a treat and is used to eating her meals in there. She will do almost anything for a treat! She will still have the occasional pee accident in her crate if crated for more than a few hours. She sleeps through the night in her crate with no issues. I usually let her out early to potty and then let her get into bed with me until I get up for work. We are working on perfecting her potty training and she is doing well, but with all puppies you can’t expect perfection and she will need continued training in her new home. Holly is fostered with other dogs and cats. She gets along with everyone but does like to chase the cats and give the other dogs more affection than they care for sometimes. She plays well with my 2 year old Chihuahua with a similar energy level. She prefers women and will require a slower introduction to men and children ( over 12 please). Once she is comfortable with you she will want to follow your every move and lick your face off! Her tail is always going a mile a minute and she loves attention. Her perfect home would be able to give her that one on one time she craves and allow a positive outlet for all her energy! Holly is a smart little girl and I know with more time and training she will blossom. $300 adoption fee 6 mo old Spayed , UTD on vaccines and prevention, HW Neg, microchipped https://www.blackcatanimalrescue.org/adoption-applications

Story
FOR ADOPTION — GABRIEL Can you believe I’m available to become part of your family?! ME EITHER, but here I am! My name is Gabriel, and I’m a 1-year-old, 13-pound red Poodle who was recently released by a breeder. I just arrived at FairyTails, so everyone is still getting to know me, but I’m pretty excited about this whole “finding my own family” thing! I was neutered yesterday and am officially starting my journey from breeder dog to beloved family member. Since living in a household and potty training may be new experiences for me, my new family should expect to give me a little patience, consistency and time to learn the ropes. And fellas, take my advice — a belly band will probably be your best friend during our transition! Since I’m a brand-new arrival, FairyTails doesn’t want to make promises about things they haven’t had enough time to observe yet. What they DO know is that I’m young, ridiculously handsome and ready for someone to show me just how good this next chapter can be. I’m Gabriel. 13 pounds. 1 year old. Red Poodle. Breeder release. Adoption fee: $450. Now… can you believe I’m available? Because seriously, LOOK AT ME! Email ftadopt@gmail.com to request an application or submit an inquiry on Adopt A Pet. If you don’t receive a response, please check your spam folder or call 859-744-7729. All rescues at FairyTails are fully ready to join your family! Our PETS come to you dewormed, fully vetted, spayed/neutered, dental exam, heart worm tested, flea/tick and heartworm monthly preventative, microchipped, up to date on all vaccinations, bathed and professionally groomed! They are housed either in foster homes or in house at our facility in warm, spacious suites, with plenty of food, water, toys and attention.

Story
Hi, I'm Jolene! I'm a blonde Poodle/Schnauzer mix, and with a name like mine, I was pretty much destined to steal a few hearts. I'm still a young girl, so I'm learning all the important things that come with growing up. Such as good manners, routines, and how to be the very best pup I can be. I may not have it all figured out just yet, but what I do know is how to love. I'm incredibly sweet, affectionate, and happiest when I'm soaking up attention from my people. I'm looking for someone that doesn't mind showing me the ropes and giving me a little patience while I learn. In return, I'll bring plenty of love, laughs, and a little charm into your life. So please, don't let my youth, my curls, or my beauty beyond compare fool you, I'm more than just a pretty face! Go ahead and set up a time to meet me and see if we'll be a great fit! I can't wait!

Story
Daisie is a 4-year-old Mini Goldendoodle weighing about 17 pounds, and shes looking for a home where she can feel safe, settle in, and become someones devoted little shadow. Daisie can be slow to warm up to new people, so shell need a family willing to give her a little time and space at first. But once she decides youre one of her people, that hesitation disappears. She is incredibly loyal, loving, and affectionateand theres a good chance your lap will become her favorite place to be. Shes already got some great household manners, too! Daisie is housebroken and crate trained, and she actually enjoys spending time relaxing in her crate on her own. She can comfortably be crated during a full workday when necessary, although shed definitely prefer a lunchtime potty break when possible. Daisie also loves car rides and is dog friendly. She has never been around cats, so we cant say how she would do with them. Because Daisie is more reserved with unfamiliar people and needs her boundaries respected while she adjusts, any children or grandchildren in the home must be age 10 or olderno exceptions. If youre looking for a small, loyal companion who may take a little patience in the beginning but will reward you with endless love once she trusts you, Daisie might be your girl. Daisie has completed her veterinary care (spay, vaccines, microchip). Her adoption fee is $200. If you're interested in adopting, please submit an application at savedbyfate.org and we'll be in touch ASAP! A meet with any approved applicant's current pets and entire family will be required prior to starting the 2-week adoption trial period. Please visit our website savedbyfate.org to learn more about this amazing pet and to see other available dogs and cats.

Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Grrrr….. wait…. no……. ummm…. How did my foster mom say I’m suppose to say hello?  Grr..hello, no….. Hi!  My name is KoKo and I’m so excited to meet you.  I am a 12.5 pound miniature poodle.  My foster momma says I’m one of the smartest dogs she’s ever met, but I need to work on my manners.  I don’t have a clue what she’s talking about.  Isn’t growling a proper way to let someone know you like them and want to meet them?  Back at the end of July my whole world got turned upside down.  My beloved mom and dad of 2 years could no longer care for me.  Let me tell you something, they loved me so much and according to my foster mom spoiled me a little too much because she says I have some naughty behaviors.  Back to that terrible day.  I was so scared and confused I lashed out to the shelter staff by growling and trying to bite them.  I truly meant no harm.  I was just scared and had learned if I growl and snap things I don’t like happening stop.  Thankfully the shelter director knew of foster mom and knew she would take a chance on me and take me home to foster.  The day she picked me up was one of the best days of my life.  While I’m still living with other dogs and cats her home is quiet and the best part is she lets me sleep in the bed with her, one of my most favorite activities.  I was on my best behavior for about a week, before I let the first growl slip.  I truly meant no harm.  I was just tired and didn’t want to be moved over on the bed.  My new momma told me that was unacceptable behavior and we had to practice being moved without biting.  My foster momma took me to meet with a dog trainer and we have lots of things we are working on.  According to the trainer I’m a pushy dog who lacks confidence and have learner growling gets me my way.  I disagree, but whatever.  We still apparently have to work on my growling.  If you’ve got an empty lap, patience, and a willingness to continue on with my training fill out an application to me you.     KoKo is house trained and crate trained, but can be reactive in his crate.  He gets along great with both cats and dogs and would like flourish in a home with a dog his size to play with.  He enjoys walking on a leash and napping the day away on the couch.  Because he does growl and snap he needs a home with kids over the age of 12.  One of the conditions of his adoption is going to be, being willing to enroll him in training classes with a dog trainer so his forever family can continue working with him on his growling.  He will also require daily brushing and grooming visits every 6-8 weeks to keep his hair from matting.                                               Estimated DOB:   08/12/2024 Adoption fee: $350 (6% KY sales tax included)  We would love to hear from you!
