Story
Just look at that smile! The little guy grinning from ear to ear is aptly named Happy Man, and honestly, we've never met a dog who wears his name more proudly. This charming young Miniature Poodle wakes up every day ready to share his joy with everyone around him. His tail wags with enthusiasm, his eyes sparkle with happiness, and his smile says it all. Happy Man's journey to Critter Cavalry Rescue began with heartbreak. When his beloved owner passed away, he and another dog were left alone in the home. Kind people made sure they were fed while a dedicated rescuer searched for help. Thankfully, Critter Cavalry Rescue stepped in, and this precious little boy was given a second chance at the future he deserves. At only 18 months old and weighing about 10 pounds, Happy Man has settled beautifully into foster care. There he received everything he needed to start fresh: a complete veterinary examination, neuter surgery, vaccinations, heartworm testing, fecal testing, a microchip, and all the loving care he could handle. He passed every health check with flying colors and is now eagerly waiting to find out where life will take him next. And what a wonderful life companion he will be. Happy Man is smart, affectionate, playful, and full of personality. He loves people and thrives on companionship. Like many young dogs, he is still learning a few things. He is almost housebroken and will need a family willing to establish a consistent outdoor potty routine. His elderly owner relied primarily on pee pads, so he simply needs a little guidance and patience as he learns new habits. The truth is that rescue dogs don't always arrive perfectly trained. They carry the effects of the lives they've lived before. But what matters most is who they are at heart—and Happy Man's heart is pure gold. If you're searching for a young dog who is healthy, intelligent, loving, and guaranteed to brighten your days, this little star deserves your attention. He has overcome loss, embraced a new beginning, and never lost his joyful spirit. Some dogs come into your life and make you smile. Happy Man is the kind of dog who makes you smile every single day. Could you be the lucky family he has been waiting for?   Contact Critter Cavalry Rescue at ccrnewengland@gmail.com if you are interested.   PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJune 21, 2026, 1:48 pm

Story
Meet Dolce, a gentle 5 year old little Bichonpoo mama who is just beginning to learn what love and safety feel like. She comes from an Amish puppy mill background, where human hands were not kind to her. Because of this, she is very shy and easily frightened—but every day she is learning that hands can offer comfort, not harm. Dolce will need a calm, patient home willing to give her the time and space she needs to build trust at her own pace. A securely fenced yard is required, as she is still very fearful and not yet comfortable on a leash. Another confident dog in the home would also help her feel safe. This sweet girl may not run up to greet you right away, but with time, consistency, and kindness, she has so much love to give. Watching Dolce slowly come out of her shell will be incredibly rewarding for the right person or family. If you have a quiet home, a gentle heart, and the patience to help her heal, Dolce could be the perfect addition to your family. Dolce is being fostered in Brunswick. Story
Smokey is back in foster care do to not fault of his own. The child in the home was allergic. Smokey has come so far with controlling his impulses. He loves to play and another playful dog would be helpful. He is great with cats. He is fine off leash and has a pretty consistent recall. Smokey loves to ride, is completely housebroken and is amazing in his crate. His down fall is he can get overstimulated and play rough. He with get mouthy. A firm correction or a time out and he comes right out of it. This is happening less and less. Smokey is also a great walking, running or hiking partner Adoption fee is $475 If you do not hear from us within 7 days please email passion4petsrescue@gmail.com

Story
Meet Funny Phil!If you are looking for a puppy with charm, good looks, a sense of humor, and a heart full of love, then allow us to introduce you to Funny Phil. This happy-go-lucky Mini Aussiedoodle is 12 weeks old, weighs about 12 pounds, and is expected to grow into a wonderful 30–40 pound companion. Wherever he goes, Phil seems to attract attention. Maybe it's his adorable face, his expressive eyes, or the way he always seems to have a funny look ready to make people smile. Whatever it is, this little guy has 'star quality' written all over him.Phil is the kind of puppy who wakes up every day ready to enjoy life. He loves people and believes everyone he meets is a potential best friend. He happily soaks up attention, gives out affection freely, and is always ready to be part of whatever is happening around him. Whether you're taking a walk, riding in the car, hanging out in the yard, or relaxing on the couch, Phil is delighted just to be included. This sweet boy also has wonderful manners for such a young pup. He is crate trained and making excellent progress with housebreaking. He's smart, eager to learn, and has just the right amount of energy—playful and fun without being overwhelming. He gets along beautifully with other dogs, is comfortable around cats, and is gentle and loving with children.Phil's story started a little differently than most puppies. He was born in a litter of six and spent the first eight weeks of his life living outdoors. When Critter Cavalry Rescue learned about the puppies' situation, they stepped in to give them the clean, safe, and loving start they deserved. Phil has embraced his second chance with enthusiasm and gratitude, and now he's ready to find the forever family he was always meant to have.We can easily picture Phil growing up to be that once-in-a-lifetime dog—the one who goes everywhere with his family, greets every day with a wagging tail, and keeps everyone laughing with his silly expressions and joyful personality. He has a way of making ordinary moments feel special.Funny Phil will be ready on June 19 to hop aboard the transport van from Nashville and head toward the family of his dreams. The only question is whether that family might be yours. For more information about adopting Phil, please contact ccrnewengland@gmail.com.Warning: prolonged exposure to Funny Phil may result in excessive smiling, frequent puppy kisses, and a sudden inability to imagine life without him. ❤️ PLEASE NOTE:  Our dogs are transported from Tennessee to meeting places in the states where we have posted.  Further information about us is given on our Adopt-A-Pet site.  The adoption fees vary and will be provided as well as noted on the application you receive.  Contact us at 615-661-5333 or ccrnewengland@gmail.comJune 21, 2026, 1:48 pm
