Story
Meet Juniper! Juniper is a sweet little lady with a soft coat, a waggy tail, and lots of love to give! She adores attention from her people and has settled in nicely with the dog in her foster home. - Sweet, affectionate, and loves attention - Gets along great with other dogs - Soft coat you won’t be able to resist petting - Keeps her kennel clean overnight - May fuss a little at bedtime but eventually settles - Happy to greet you with her little waggy tail in the morning - Learning to walk on a leash - Working on potty manners Medical Note: Heartworm positive. She will need to be treated with 28 days of doxycycline (an inexpensive antibiotic) before she can receive heartworm injections. You can still adopt her, but the cost of the treatment will become your responsibility, ODHS always recommends you contact a vet to price this treatment if you are interested in adopting beforehand. https://www.heartwormsociety.org/ June is a little love bug who will thrive with patience, encouragement, and a family willing to help her learn all the new things that come with being part of a home. ********************************************************************* Schedule a meet-and-greet by completing our Adoption Survey on the Adopt page of our website at https://www.olddominionhumanesociety.org/adoption-survey. Story
Koopa came to us as a puppy and has been a cherished part of our family for the past six years. With heavy hearts, we’ve come to the difficult decision that we need to find him his forever home. Koopa is incredibly sweet, loving, and protective. We are cautious about placing him with other dogs. As he hasn’t done well with our 10yr old Yorkie. He’s very playful, full of energy, and thrives on attention and companionship. We are hoping to find a retired individual or couple who has the time, patience, and love to give Koopa the life he deserves.
