Piper is sweet and loving dog that needs constant attention. She has separation anxiety and does not do well when separated with her male partner Leo. Must be adopted together with Leo. She is 2 years old, born Oct 2023. She loves to play with socks, and sticks. A bit stubborn. Doesn't like getting dirty. Up to date with all vaccinations and check up as recent as Jan 2026. We will only entertain families that live in a house with a backyard space for both of them to run around and play.

Story
Little Tinker is the sweetest, gentlest little Morkie boy you will ever meet. He’s an 11 year-old. 11 lb. sweet and shy but playful Morkie looking for his furever home, along with his sister Trixie. Tinker and Trixie are a bonded pair (brother and sister) being rehomed together only. Tinker is a Morkie and was adopted at 6 weeks old along with his sister (Trixie) from the Yorkie Rescue. It is so important that they stay together as they’ve spent their whole lives together. Tinker is happy just to curl up and nap or sweetly play with toys. Both pups are friendly with other dogs and would happily form a little pack of love with another pup. Tinker is house trained with no special needs. Please consider adopting Trixie and Tinker.

Trixie is a beautiful Tan Morkie, the older sister of a bonded pair (with brother Tinker). I adopted both from the Yorkie Rescue when they were just six weeks old. Trixie now weighs about between 14 lbs and is just a little love. Trixie is 11 years old now, but still loves walking and just being close. Trixie has sparkling brown eyes and is a happy girl. Trixie is being offered for adoption with her brother Tinker (an 11 lb. Morkie). It’s important that Trixie and Tinker are adopted together as they have spent their whole lives together. They would be happy being your only pets, or would also form a little pack with your existing pets. Due to a serious family illness, I am no longer able to care for these precious pups as they deserve to be cared for. Are you looking for a darling pair of small dogs to enrich your life? Trixie and Tinker are house trained and have no special needs. 🐶💗

Story
Bilbo is a 5-year-old Maltese and Poodle mix who came to YAPS after being found wandering the streets. He was withdrawn, very frightened, and would not interact with staff. However, after many weeks, he began to slowly trust again and rebuild his confidence, thanks to the kindness and patience of the staff and volunteers.  Bilbo showed signs of improvement, but never so much as when a young, friendly, playful dog was placed in his kennel. Bilbo was relaxed, happy, and wagging his tail. His rehabilitation continued when placed with a foster family who provided the care and attention he deserved. Bilbo has been through a lot and would now love to find his very own stable, loving, forever home he so deserves.

He’s a little “partially house-trained, slightly judgy, and gives out his love like it’s an exclusive VIP membership”. But for the right person? He’s your ride-or-die. 💥 Pros: ✔️ Will hear you open the fridge from 3 zip codes away. ✔️ Loves “kisses, kisses” if you’re on his approved list. ✔️ Gets along great with other dogs. ✔️ Looks like a scruffy little rockstar who doesn’t care about your HOA rules. ⚡️ Cons (but like… funny ones): ✖️ He’s choosy with humans. (Don’t take it personally, Karen.) ✖️ “Partially” house-trained. (Let’s call it rustic charm.) ✖️ Will probably sass you if dinner’s late. 🎯 Bill needs a human who: ✔️ Gets his sense of humor ✔️ Knows the fridge is now a shared resource ✔️ Understands true love is earned, not given away free 🚨 I’ve fostered this guy WAY too long.
