Story
Marley is a 10-year-old Morkie (Maltese/Yorkie mix), about 8 lbs. He’s been my companion since he was a puppy and is full of love and personality. About Marley: • House-trained (uses pee pads indoors) • Small and cuddly, loves attention and cozy naps • Up-to-date on vet records and vaccines Health Notes: • On Apoquel for allergies (can cause mild nausea on an empty stomach) • Prone to ear infections; needs regular cleanings and occasional vet care • Eats prescription food (I’ll provide food, meds, bed, crate, and toys) Ideal Home: • Adult or older-kids home • Someone patient, gentle, and comfortable with senior dog care and medications • Calm, consistent environment preferred This is a very difficult decision, but I want Marley to have the stability and care he deserves in his senior years. If you’re interested or know someone who might be a great fit, please reach out. Comes With: Crate, toys, slow-feeder bowl, treats, prescription food, and medications

Story
Dexter was picked up from a shelter and has been skittish from the beginning but has been getting better. He is loving and If he knows you and is comfortable he will snuggle up close to you, but if he doesn’t he will find a place to hide, like behind the toilet bowl or in another room. If “left alone” he does have a tendency to get wound up (zoomies, reminds me of like, I’m free; mentality) and wants to chew up rugs, potty sheets, well we stopped that by putting him in a crate while we are gone. He’s fine as long as we are with him. So because of that we crate trained him and don’t let him out if we go away. Just recently we found out that he doesn’t like fireworks. My wife and I are seniors (in our seventies) with me being disabled and spend a lot of time at the hospital. I hate caging him up and would like to find him a new home.
