Story
Hank is estimated to be around 4 years 1 month old, our guess for breed is a Yorkie mix. He came to us a stray so his history is unknown. Hank is very sweet & affectionate. He enjoys playing with his toys, favorites are squeaky & stuffed. He also likes chewing on his Nyla bones. He knows commands sit and walks nicely on a leash. He doesn't mind being picked up especially since he has a little trouble jumping up. Fun quirk, when he gets excited he'll do a little spin or two! Good with baths, will need regular professional grooming. Housebroken. Good with dogs and cats. Recommend child over 12. Selective with other dogs. Seems better with dogs smaller than him and calm. Larger and high energy dogs intimidate him. While at the vet for his neuter he also received a dental, 4 teeth were missing and 1 was extracted. He was also examined for discomfort in his back. Upon examination, Hank shows some thoracic spine sensitivity most likely due to a previous injury. His adoption fee is $150, this includes his neuter, heartworm test, vaccines current, deworming, heartworm/flea prevention and micro chipped. His dog license is also required to be purchased for Sandusky County residents at time of adoption, which is an additional $21.00. Please visit the shelter to meet him, we show dogs Monday, Tuesday, Thursday and Friday1pm-4:30pm, and the 2nd and 4th Saturday 1pm-3:30pm.
