Story
Introducing Ace! Ace is a young, energetic terrier mix. The vet estimates he is between 10-12 months, and our best guess for breeds is yorkie/jack russell or cairn terrier, and maybe a bit of something like a corgi or daschund as he is quite long in the body. Ace is currently fostered with a large dog and several cats, and he gets along well with them, though it did take some time and patience at first as he was a little nervous when he first arrived. Ace is a very high energy little guy, he loves his toys and will happily play fetch or tug as long as you are willing, and then is content to relax on the couch and chew on a nylabone. Ace sleeps in a kennel overnight and doesn't make a fuss. He also loves to cuddle in bed and often spends the early morning snuggling with the teenager in the house, and sometimes even the cats. He absolutely loves going for walks, and we are working on teaching him not to pull. He is very polite when passing people on the street. He does bark a bit at other dogs if they are barking at him from their yards. Ace is a little bit nervous around younger children, and when meeting new people, but with proper introductions and a little bit of patience, he warms up fairly quickly. He also LOVES food and is a very quick learner, which makes it pretty easy to become his friend. Ace will make a wonderful companion for someone active. He would definitely benefit from some training classes and would likely excel at a variety of dogsports. If you are looking for a spunky, fun, and super cute little friend, Ace just might be the one for you!
