She is aimed to please, she loves to be praised such as “beautiful princess” “good girl” and very food motivated, so is easy to train. She would follow foster mom around and keep her humans company as long as she’s felt needed; “an absolute sweet girl!” as quote by her foster mom. She is potty and crate trained; well behaved when inside the house, has no chewing or barking issues. She is close to human, not shy with strangers including kids, dogs and cats. She could be a bit wary around unfamiliar places, but able to adapt quickly with the help of yummy treats. Amber is loving by nature, she’ll be a great companion pet for any type of family, or family looking for sibling of the existing dog. Amber’s rescue story: Amber and her siblings were born to a stray mother. They lived under the highway overpass and kept alive by volunteer’s irregular feeding. At five months old, Amber and another sibling were adopted. But only after a short six months, Amber was returned due to her owner’s financial hardship. Because Amber’s previous home was in an isolated environment, she was a little skittish when exposed to bustling city life. But under the care of her foster family and regular walking on leash, her sensitivity to noise has shown great improvement.
