Meet Moonpie — Your Gentle, Copper-Eyed Companion
Moonpie is a tenderhearted, easy-going pup who wins everyone over with just one look from his warm copper eyes. With his adorable white socks and sweet pointy ears that dip softly when he greets you, he’s the kind of dog who immediately melts hearts. Moonpie is a quiet, gentle soul who loves to be near his people, soaking up affection and closing his eyes in pure bliss when you scratch behind his ears.
This handsome boy is house trained, crate trained, and great on a leash, making him a wonderful fit for almost any home. He has lived with dogs in the 30–70 lb range and loves to romp and play—especially with his buddy Peanut—before curling up for a long, peaceful nap. Moonpie has also done beautifully with tweens and teens and is so gentle that his foster believes he’d be fine with younger children as well.
Moonpie enjoys car rides, comes when called, and knows several helpful commands, including “no,” “get in your box,” and “come.” He’s currently working on “sit” and “shake,” and with his eager-to-please personality, he’ll be proud to learn more with his new family.
Whether you’re looking for a playful companion for your resident dog or a calm best friend to share life’s simple joys, Moonpie is an adaptable, loving, easy-going fella who just wants to be part of a family. Moonpie is being fostered in a home in Seguin, TX but can be transported to the NE and PNW after adoption.
