Story
We got Mac for free from a breeder on Facebook that had too many dogs. Mac was the runt of the litter had multiple signs of abuse and malnourishment. He was all bones when we got him and wouldn’t even eat from his bowl without fear of reprimand. He’s started to come out of his shell and he’s a very sweet dog. He does have definite separation anxiety and stubborn (as our trainer says) and does not warm up well to men. He’s great and very patient with our daughter (1). He’s non-aggressive we’ve heard him bark once in the last 3 months we’ve had him. He’s mostly potty trained but has accidents from time to time. He just needs a home that can continue to offer him care and the resources he needs to train him and most importantly more time that he needs that we unfortunately can’t offer. We also have all of his comfort and care items that we can give to you as well to take care of him.

Story
I’m a 8-month-old bundle of wiggles and love who was rescued in Terrebonne Parish. Life threw me a curveball when I had to have one of my eyes removed, but don’t worry—it doesn’t slow me down at all! I’m a cute plott hound mix!Hi, I’m Killian – your future best friend! 🐶✨Don’t mind my one eye, I think it just makes me extra unique (and super handsome, if I do say so myself). I’m a puppy which means I love to play, bounce around, and explore everything! But once I’ve had my fun, I’m all about curling up close for some cuddle time.I get along great with other dogs and older kids, and I’d be so happy to have a buddy to play with. I haven’t met any cats or little kids yet, so I can’t tell you what I think about them.Right now I’m working on my kennel training. I’m still a puppy, so I’m learning as I go! With a little patience, I’ll keep getting better and better. So if you’re looking for a goofy, snuggly, one-of-a-kind pup who will love you forever, pick me, Killian! I’ll bring the joy, the cuddles, and the puppy kisses. 🐾❤️Adopt me in January and save $100 off my adoption fee!________________________________________________If you would like to meet one of our adoptables or learn more about them, please submit an application at https://animalrescueneworleans.org/adoptfoster/.**Note: Our shelter is open by scheduled appointment only after your application is approved. Story
Meet Luscia. Luscia is an old soul who is the chillest and most loyal friend you’ll ever have. She loves laying around, going for walks, choosing comfy napping spots, yoga, and going on adventures. She is so quiet except when she feels the need to protect her humans. She doesn’t have strong opinions about food, toys, or beds, which makes her extremely easy to take care of. She is potty trained (has never had a single accident) and crate trained. She sleeps in a dog bed, her crate, or just a spot on the floor near her human’s bed. She knows basic commands and walks well on a leash. She doesn’t pull and loves a good walk. She is sometimes good with other dogs, people, and cats, however, she can also feel the need to be protective around them as well. She has a beautiful brindle coat and barely sheds if you give her a quick brush in the morning. She also loves being brushed and pampered. Please adopt this sweet, low maintenance gal!If interested in Luscia, please complete the online application at www.zeusrescues.org. Thanks! Michelle#zeusrescues
