Story
Hi Kiwi here. Nope…not from New Zealand but I AM as sweet as a Kiwi fruit. Yup, I’m as cute as a kiwi bird, which is held in high regard and a symbol of pride and affection. I’m great on leash and love car rides. Play time is the best especially if belly rubs happen. I’m very friendly when on “walk about”, either hiking or grabbing a libation at an outside cafe. Come check me out. Then let me say Hi to the family and any pups you have (which I love), for a play date. I know you’ll want to bring my fun-self home to bring you happiness and cuddles everyday.

Story
Hello there, I'm Mary Kate, a warm-hearted, fun-loving, affectionate girl. I came here to Animal Humane with my sister, Ashley. We'd very much like to stay together, but we've talked it over, and we're both willing to part with a stiff upper lip if necessary. Although, if you happen to be in the market for a pair of new friends, Ashley and I love to play with each other, and we'd happily entertain ourselves for hours. We love to share - toys, treats and eye color! Between the two of us, there's a pair of brown eyes and a pair of blue eyes. We also have experience playing very nicely apart from each other, with other doggo friends. I just love meeting new dogs, and I've always greeted them with play bows and wags. If it's just me and a human friend, I'll also play bow to them just to see what will happen. Who knows, I might get lucky one day and they'll play chase! I'm a pretty athletic young girl, and I would thrive in a home with a play buddy, whether that's my sister or another furry friend who also loves to run around, play and explore. I also love going on walks with humans, and I behave admirably on a leash. Sometimes I get very excited to be out of my kennel and with friends, and I'll jump up for hugs and pets. If I know we're going to meet other doggos or go play, I might pull a little with excitement. But I'm a good listener, and I'm easy to redirect. Once I get some energy out, I'm all about the snuggles and affection. My human friends love when I do this, and they use words like "sociable, playful, loveable and beautiful" to describe me. It's enough to make a girl blush. But it's all true - and I'd love to show you! Just come on down and say "hi."

Story
Ashley is the sweetest girl! She is SO excited to get her harness on so she can go for a walk! She is good on the leash, and is a joy to walk. She is not familiar with toys or balls (yet!) but maybe you could introduce those to her! She is curious about her surroundings and loves to get lots of pets and hugs when she sits next to you on a bench. She would probably also love to sit next to you on a couch while the two of you watch your favorite show or movie! She has soft fur and beautiful expressive eyes that you will notice right away! Come meet her! Maybe you will be the one to give her the forever family that she deserves!
