Story
This precious boy is young and still acts like a puppy. We think he is around one year old. Archie looks bigger in pictures. He only weighs about 35 pounds. He is underweight, of course. :( We don't know if he was on his own a long time or kept outside. The poor boy came in very thin and looking pretty rough with lots of cuts and nicks on his face and was missing hair in places. He is definitely getting better! At first he was shy, now he's learning to play and come out of his shell! Through it all, Archie hasn’t shown any aggression towards the other dogs through his kennel. He likes to give Chanel kisses through the fencing. He also did well saying Hi to Checkers at the fence. Archie has not been to the vet, and we do not know his heartworm status. He needs a family who will be patient with him as he learns manners but is more than willing to please!

Story
Hi my name is Coco! I am the longest canine resident here at the Chesapeake Humane Society. I have been at the shelter since early November. I did not have a home for Thanksgiving, but I am really hopeful for Christmas. I enjoy loving on little kids and playing with kids. I get along well with other gentle dogs and would be okay in a home with cats. I am respectful and kind. The staff would describe me as a favorite of theirs. If you think you are interested in me or any of my friends at the Chesapeake Humane Society please stop by for a visit.
