She seldom barks, has not destroyed anything in our house, sleeps all night in her kennel (takes some coaxing to get her in there) and potties outside. She loves going for walks and smelling EVERYTHING along the way.  After being outside, she likes taking a little snooze on the couch with her blanket. 04/04/2024 Volunteer Feedback: I had a free afternoon and decided to spend it with this quiet and very well behaved little lady living at the shelter while waiting for a foster home.  Ballerina and I started at Gooseberry Park where she had a great sniff walk, crossed the bridge and continued walking the Lindenwood trails where we were sheltered from the cold north wind. Ballerina rides nicely in the car so decided to run to the Fargo Scheels for an item.  I think this was her first exposure to a store and lots of strangers, but she followed my lead and even trotted up the stairs so we could look for a new dog toy.  All too soon it was time to head back to the shelter where I sadly had to put her back in her kennel.     Ballerina is such a sweet dog who is dog friendly, walks nicely on leash, is potty trained, friendly and ready to hop in your car for an adventure!  Can you give her a place in your heart and home?   03/26/2024 Volunteer Feedback: I gave Ballerina a kennel break today, and she was such a sweet little queen. She loved just relaxing on the couch and getting scratches. She was a great napping buddy, and was very calm but curious! I just loved hanging with her! 03/24/2024 Volunteer Feedback: Pictures don’t do Ballerina justice! She is a tiny girl who lives up to her name with her grace and beauty. She had good manners for our walk together, patiently letting me harness her up and walking nicely on a leash. She does love to sniff and was very interested in alerting me to birds and bunnies, but she redirected well when I told her that we were going to let them be. She isn’t in a foster home yet but she seems like she will be such a gem!To view additional dogs available for adoption, please see our website: www.4luvofdog.org April 29, 2024, 11:51 am
