Story
We adopted Trapper from a co worker who had too many dogs when he was 4 months old in 2020 during COVID so we were home all the time . He’s a Mountain Cur . He’s been a great dog . House trained . Loves to go for walks , ride in the car / Truck and just be busy . He’s very good with kids . If you read up on the breed you will see they are very protective of their family . Not happy during thunderstorms or fireworks. He puts himself to bed when he hears either of them . Up to date on all shots etc. We want him to be happy and be in a house with a yard and place to run . Our life style has changed and we’re hardly home , weekends we’re busier and feel bad leaving him . Happy to answer any questions you may have . He’d be great for a man who loves to travel or a retired couple to spoil him . He’s a little possessive of his dog treats and growls if you try to take it but we just leave him alone . That’s his one little quirk We want him to have a more exciting life

Mountain Cur/Retriever (Unknown Type)

Needs special attention, House-trained,
Story
Meet Danny! He came to us in July and finds himself in this crazy market looking for a new home! He is curious with other canines and wants to interact with them but he would still like to meet you in the play yard first. If you are looking for a lab dog who has the drive to do this is your guy. He likes to search and find and has a lot of energy to do so. With the "retriever" name he has the energy and drive to go along with the breed. We think he has the ability to learn these new skills if given the time with someone who is patient with him. He is housetrained and currently has some skin issues so he has been placed on a sensitive skin dog food to help clear up those skin issues and they are working well. He doesn't seem to mind a bath and although he is very curious, he is timid with new surroundings and people. He is current on his vaccines, microchipped, neutered and heartworm positive.
