Meet Toast!Toast came into the shelter November 18th found stray outside of the city limits of Alpine with her sister Pretzel. Both girls were thin and in desperate need of rescue from the side of the road of south 118. They were lucky that a good Samaritan found them when they did and scooped them up. Toast has done great in play groups with other dogs, even better than her sister. She loves meeting new people and will not shy away from a good pet shesh. She has done really well learning leash walking and has learned how to sit! She is very well behaved, will listen to commands and is super smart. Very treat motivated!Our staff says they love her energy and how smart and loving she is!Come meet Toast today at the Alpine Animal Services Shelter, 2900 Old Marathon Hwy Alpine, TX 79830.

Both girls were thin and in desperate need of rescue from the side of the road of south 118. They were lucky that a good Samaritan found them when they did and scooped them up. Pretzel has done great in play groups with other dogs so far and loves meeting new people. She is very calm and gentle. Plus, she walks very well on a leash and is learning how to sit! She is a good listener and fast learner; very treat motivated. Our staff say their favorite characteristic is that Pretzel is silly, sweet, and a dog who loves attention and getting pets.
