Story
Meet Lewlie, an 11-year-old Mountain Cur (as of January 2025) searching for her forever home. This sweet girl adores people and gets along wonderfully with other dogs. Lewlie is both house trained and crate trained, making her an easy fit for indoor living. She loves nothing more than romping outside and basking in the sunshine. To keep her safe, she'll need a home with a tall privacy fence. Lewlie does have thunderstorm anxiety, so during storms, she'll need a secure indoor space to feel calm and protected. Could you be the one to give this charming senior pup the loving home she deserves?

Story
She was a stray that just ran up to our porch one afternoon. She is beautiful and fiercely loyal even though she had just met us. She sleeps on the floor right next to me in bed, even if the only thing she has to sleep on is the shirt I threw on the floor before bed (We have several dog beds laying around the room). When any of us are in the shower, she lays down on the floor right outside shower. Somebody trained her. Sit, Laydown, Shake, even "Go somewhere else," and she will leave the room. She obediently fetches and returns. Someone trained this dog. Maybe to hunt or something. She CANNOT SWIM however, at least in our pool. But, she loves to RUN!!! The problem is, we had four dogs (and two cats) prior to Bella. Bella and Phoebe do not get along. We don't know why, and sometimes it is hard to tell who starts what, but they do not get along. Bella gets along fine with the cats too. Bella is a bright star, but she belongs in a home where she is the only star.
