Story
Sasha is a Catahoula mix, eight or nine years old. She is loving, sweet, and protective of her people, but she is slow to accept strangers. She is very smart and learns new tricks easily. She tore her ACL, but she has never regained her earlier abilities even though she had surgery to correct it. She walks with a decided limp and most often holds her leg up. She has a skin allergy, for which she takes a daily medication. She also takes meds for joint pain and stiffness. She likes women more than men, but she adored her previous owner, who was a 98 year old senior. Unfortunately, he can no longer care for her and has moved into a home. Prospective owners must realize that Sasha will need extra care and patience. She has a very strong prey drive, so other pets are not advisable. She did associate with two cats, but she was never left unsupervised with them. Sasha will do best with an older, very experienced owner, that has time to spend, and will give her lots of love.
