Story
Meet 🐾 BAMBI 🐾 Bambi is a 4-year-old spayed Mountain Cur with the softest heart this side of the forest. She’s gentle, kind, and sweeter than a clover patch at sunrise. 🌼 She’s great with kids, friendly with other dogs, and even does well with cats—a true woodland diplomat! This girl is potty trained and kennel trained, loves to run and play outside, and—just like us forest folk—she prefers fresh air and open space. When she lived on open land where she could stretch her legs and let her energy out, she was calm, relaxed, and perfectly content. 🌳💛 When cooped up indoors too much, she can get a little anxious, so she’d thrive in a home with a yard, land, or an active family who enjoys outdoor time. Bambi is not aggressive at all—she’s super docile, chill, and a total cuddle bug once her zoomies are out. Think: peaceful naps, gentle kisses, and a loyal shadow by your side. 🦌✨ So if your heart has room for a soft-eyed deer-dog who just wants space to run and someone to love… THUMP! That’s your sign. 💥 📍 Located in Bryan, TX 📝 Apply to adopt Bambi at: www.cactusranchrescue.com 🌲 Adopt Bambi and let your happily-ever-after begin in the great wide forest. 🌲

Features: Tan, white, brown single-layer coat, floppy ears, and stunning hazel eyes! ✅ Spayed, fully vaccinated, clean bill of health from VCA Pflugerville wellness visit, and comfortable with grooming (nail trims, ear cleaning, teeth brushing). Hazel is the perfect mix of beauty, brains, and sweetness! At 6 months old, she’s past the toughest puppy stage (no more sleepless nights or teething chaos!). She’s potty trained, uses a doggy door, and isn’t a big barker. She's highly trainable, loves treats, and already knows how to sit, wait, come, and shake. She’s at the ideal age to learn and grow with you. Hazel is an outdoorsy girl who loves walks, dog parks, and playing in the yard. She has a playful side and can often be found amusing herself with toys. She’s gentle with kids, gets along with cats, and loves other dogs. Ideally, searching for a home with a canine companion for interaction, play, and support as she adapts to her new environment.
