Good with cats,
Story
I am a stunning feline who spent my life being used for breeding, and now everything feels new and a little scary. I’m not used to people yet, so I may try to hide or bolt when I feel overwhelmed. The kind people at CVAS are giving me time, patience, and love so I can learn that the world is safe and people can be gentle. I may need a quiet home and someone willing to move slowly with me while I build trust. With patience and kindness, the hope is that I’ll blossom into the loving lap cat I was always meant to be. If you have a calm home and a big heart, I just might be the one for you. Food: I eat 1/3 cup of IAMS Kitten food per day. Behavior: Scared/Shy - Bolts Socializing/Volunteer: Green/Yellow

Story
Opal is a beautiful Bengal/Munchkin who is just beginning her journey toward learning what it means to be safe and loved. She was previously used for breeding and has not had much experience with people, so the world feels a little overwhelming to her right now. Opal prefers to hide where she feels secure, and when she is picked up she tends to freeze because she simply isn’t used to being handled yet. She isn’t being unfriendly — she is just unsure and still learning to trust. Opal will need a very patient, understanding home that will give her the time and space she needs to adjust at her own pace. With gentle care, a calm environment, and someone willing to let her come out of her shell slowly, she has the potential to grow more comfortable and begin to show her true personality. If you’re someone who understands shy cats and is willing to give her the time she deserves, Opal could truly blossom in the right home. 🐾 Food: I eat 1/2 cup of Diamond Natural food per day. Behavior: Shy/Scared/Hides Socializing/Volunteer: Yellow/Hides

Story
Stacey is a sweet girl who is still learning how to feel safe. She was previously used for breeding and has not had the opportunity to experience a loving home environment, so she is very shy and easily frightened right now. Stacey tends to hide when things feel overwhelming, but beneath that fear is a gentle, sensitive cat who simply needs time and patience. She is looking for a calm, quiet home where she can slowly build confidence and learn to trust at her own pace. With kindness, consistency, and a little time, Stacey has the potential to blossom into a loving companion. She just needs someone willing to give her the safe, patient home she has never had before. 🐾 Food: I eat 1/2 cup of Diamond Natural food per day. Behavior: Shy/Scared/Hides Socializing/Volunteer: Yellow/Patience
