Story
Meet Farrah! This adorable 1 year old, 29 lb Springer Spaniel is full of personality. She’s spunky, energetic, playful, and always ready for some fun, especially if it involves zooming around the yard with her dog friends.
While Farrah has a playful side, she’s also still learning that the world is a safe place. She can be cautious at first and takes a little time to warm up, but every day her confidence continues to grow. She’s already making great progress and has started becoming much more independent as she settles into foster care.
Farrah is doing wonderfully with house training and has not had many accidents indoors. Crate training is still a work in progress, as she isn’t currently a big fan of the crate, but she does eventually settle down.
She enjoys being near her people and has a sweet “semi-velcro” personality meaning she won’t constantly be in your lap, but she’ll usually want to stay close by. While she’s not especially cuddly yet, she absolutely loves attention.
We’re still learning whether Farrah would do best with another dog in the home or if she’d thrive as an only dog once fully comfortable. She currently enjoys the company of other dogs and takes confidence from them, so a patient home willing to continue building her confidence will help her flourish. Farrah is NOT comfortable walking and pottying on leash at this time, so she does REQUIRE
a fully fenced in yard.
