Story
Meet Oreo! Looking for unconditional love wrapped in a wagging tail? Oreo is a 2 year-old Springer Spaniel mix with a heart as big as her puppy-dog eyes. Oreo is about 22 pounds, searching for a committed, loving family. This sweet girl was adopted, but through no fault of her own, she is again searching for a furever family again. This sweetheart is a very fast runner. She loves running around the yard and playing. She sleeps in a crate, and views the crate as her safe place. She is also a good watch dog. In the evening she likes to chill and cuddle up, while she gives kisses. Oreo walks very nicely while on a leash, and she is housebroken. While she can be a bit nervous, a patient family is what she needs to bring out her very best. The good news is Oreo is already crate trained, house trained, and walks beautifully on a leash. She’s a sweet girl who just needs the right setting to feel safe and secure. If you can open your heart and home to Oreo, please fill out an application asap. Let’s help this deserving girl find the comfort and stability she needs. Oreo would do best in a calm home environment with a fenced-in yard. A female-only household would be a plus (she can be fearful of men). Another friendly dog would be a big plus! She has been around children but does not interact with them, at this time. A loving foster or forever home where she can be exposed to practicing basic skills and continuing to show her wonderful personality would be ideal. Whether you're looking for a hiking buddy, a couch companion, or a loyal shadow, Oreo is ready to fill your life with tail wags and joy. Are you able to be Oreo’s furever home? Apply at www.peace4paws.org/adoption-application on a laptop or computer.
