Meet Annapurna! Annapurna is a 3 month old Kangal mix, searching for her forever home. Annapurna is a lively and energetic pup who is always ready for an adventure! With a playful spirit and boundless enthusiasm, Annapurna is the perfect companion for an active family looking to add a burst of joy and excitement to their lives. This spirited little pup loves to run, jump, and explore, and she is eager to learn new tricks and games. Annapurna is at the age where training and routine are critical, so she needs the consistency, patience and love of her new guardian to show her the ways of developing into a mature and fulfilled adult dog. Adopters are encouraged to attend puppy obedience classes, but the basics are a must - leash training, socializing with people and other dogs, and, of course, house training. Annapurna won't be a puppy forever, and as she grows, there are some important things to keep in mind about her breed. Annapurna is presumed to be a Kangal mix, however we cannot guarantee this is 100% accurate without a DNA test. The Kangal is a large, powerful, and muscular Turkish livestock guardian known for being independent, courageous, and protective. They are loyal and gentle with their families but reserved with strangers, and not recommended for novice owners. These massive dogs require a lot of room and are not suited for small dwellings due to its size, strength, and energy. Highly independent and often stubborn, the Kangal can be challenging for inexperienced owners to train. Meet Savannah,Savannah is an energetic puppy looking for a new family of her own! She is a rambunctious little one, getting into every and anything she can. She will need continued training to help her learn what she can and cannot put in her mouth. She is very curious and will need a patient guardian to continue with her obedience training ongoing. She is doing well with her housetraining but is not fully house trained. She loves going for walks and is working on her leash manners. She is a very active breed and is looking for a home who can match her active lifestyle. She loves being outdoors and exploring and would be suitable to an adoptive home who enjoys the dame. She is learning safety with people and enjoys pets and snuggles with her foster mama. Meet Poppy,Poppy has been living in a foster home to help her build her social skills and her confidence. Poppy has since grown very comfortable in their home and with their dogs. She is still learning her leash manners and will grow exceedingly excitable at the sight of other dogs and can pull hard or rush into different directions.She can already do very long walks and will need plenty of exercise and an active home! Her potty training is so-so. She is working on making it outside to do her business but will require additional training in her home. She loves the cold weather and can be very stubborn coming back indoors! She is now in the phase where she is communicating everything with her mouth- she will need consistent training and redirection so she can learn what she is and is not allowed to chew! Positive Reinforcement training is best! She is a climber; loves going from chairs to tables, and will need regular monitoring to ensure she isn't getting into too much trouble. She loves being with her people, enjoys pets but can be head shy when reaching over her. A home without small children would be best but she would do well in a home with other animals.Poppy is currently in a foster home, so we will be accepting and reviewing applications for her online at this time!If you think she would be a great fit, send in an application today!
