Story
Meet Misty! She's a smart lady who is smart as a whip! She's crate trained, mastered many commands (sit, down, off, mat, enough, go to your room, here, all done- more than most kids :). She loves to run, play fetch and be wherever you are! She's a year and a half old, and was lucky enough to have professional training donated to help her find her forever home. Whoever adopts her will receive at least one free hand off session from her trainer to help her transition go perfectly! Her ideal family would be somewhat active (she needs to run around a yard at least a few times per day). She gets along well with other dogs, but calmer dogs are best. Misty loves to play, but she can get very excited if the other dog is too energetic! She would do well with older children. Younger children and cats would require a lot of supervision. Her trainer thinks she would be a great agility dog, but she is smart enough to do anything you want to train her to do! She will require some active parenting to teach her the rules of your house, because she is so smart, she may try to make her own activities if nothing fun is provided! She's potty trained now (we had some overnight accidents until she started going in her crate at night). She's a great dog with a good head on her shoulders, and she wants to know if you are the one for her! $200 In State Adoption Fee (in Texas) $400 Out of State Fee (includes Transportation to your area) $50 Temporary fuel surcharge.

WE ARE A TX-BASED RESCUE. THIS DOG IS CURRENTLY LOCATED IN TX AND WILL BE TRANSPORTED UPON ADOPTION. Please fill out an adoption application at haydudeequine.org 🐾 Pleased to meet you - I’m Panda! 🐾 Part marshmallow, part zoomie machine, and 100% good boy. I came in on the skinnier side (hey, rescue life isn’t exactly a buffet), but I’m filling out nicely thanks to regular meals, snacks and love... lots and lots of love!! At 2yrs and 70lbs I’m already the total package: housebroken, crate trained, and doggy-door certified. I love people of all sizes, though my big, playful energy is better matched with bigger kids and medium-to-large doggie siblings. Small pups might find my enthusiasm a little…extra. But don’t worry—I’m a gentleman and happily back off if another dog says “nah, bro.” (Even Chad’s grumpy old pit bull approves.) My hobbies? Oh, just the usual—water splashing, toy stealing (ahem…sharing), and epic backyard zoomies. I walk like a dream on leash and would love to be your partner for strolls, hikes, or jogs. Underneath all the silliness, I’m a soft-hearted guy who just wants a family to call my own. Someone to laugh at my antics, throw my toys, and remind me every day that I’m finally home. 🖤🤍 Apply today at haydudeequine.org and get ready to add a little Panda-monium to your life. I promise it comes with lots and lots of cherished moments and unlimited cuddles!!!

PLEASE NOTE! Unless stated otherwise, our dogs and puppies are located in Arkansas, and transported to the north/northeast once adopted. We do occasionally have dogs/puppies placed in foster homes in the north/northeast. In the cases where the pet is somewhere other than Arkansas, it will be noted beside the name of the pet.12/5/25 Adoption fee waived! Needs a home or new foster! In Arkansas, but can transport to New England area. Tango is a big, young Great Dane mix. He is a wonderful dog with a gentle demeanor. He is amazing with kids, as well as other dogs. He was adopted from us as a young puppy, and his family absolutely adored him. His family, which included a little boy around 4-5 years old, did a fantastic job raising him. They trained him and gave him everything he needed to be the best boy. Sadly, the little boy and the dad of the family developed a severe allergy to dogs. It was so bad that dad ended up in the hospital. So they had to surrender Tango back to us. Since then he has been in a foster home. He's OK, but hes confused and sad and is experiencing some anxiety, understandably. He just wants to be with people, but in his current foster situation he has to be crated a lot of the time. This is hard on him because he did not have to be crated in his former home. He isn't destructive and is honestly just such a good dog. But due to other dogs in the foster home, this is the best we can do. Tango really needs a home of his own where he can devote himself to truly loving his people again, and can be part of the family. He is 2 years old and weighs about 95 lbs. But he has been taught from early on to be gentle. His favorite person in the world was his 'little brother' and he was so good with him. His heart is broken right now because he doesn't understand why he's not with his family any more. Please help us heal his heart. He needs a new foster home where he can be allowed more freedom in the home, or he needs an adopter who will love him and help him heal from this heart break. We will waive his adoption fee for the right home. Please share. Located in Arkansas. He can be adopted locally, but transport is available to the New England area as well. Adopter must be able to pick up or arrange for someone to pick up for them in PA, NY, or CT on Saturdays. This includes microchip, spay/neuter,  up to date on age appropriate vaccinations, dewormings, flea/tick treatment, and heartworm test (if over 6 months old) as well as heartworm treatment if they test positive. There is a transport fee of $150 per dog, depending on the transporter. We use Pack Leaders Rescue Dog Transport most often, but also use Hearts Transport as well on occasion.
