Story
Meet Diesel, a magnificent 10-year-old Saint Bernard weighing an impressive 170 pounds who is searching for a very special Forever Home. This gentle giant is as sweet as they come, combining a calm, loving personality with the natural instincts of a guardian. While Diesel is affectionate and devoted to his people, he also takes his role as protector seriously and enjoys keeping a watchful eye on his family and property.
Diesel is not your typical house dog. In fact, he prefers spending his time outdoors and is happiest when he has plenty of room to roam. Because of his size and lifestyle, Diesel is looking for a home with acreage, such as a farm, ranch, or rural property. A standard fenced backyard simply won't provide the space this big boy needs to truly thrive. He enjoys being outdoors by choice and would love a property where he can stretch his legs, patrol his surroundings, and enjoy the fresh air.
Diesel gets along well with other dogs, especially larger dogs, and enjoys their companionship. Despite his massive size, he has a gentle temperament and is a pleasure to be around. He is the kind of dog that leaves a lasting impression on everyone he meets.
Diesel's adoption donation is $150, which includes his neuter, vaccinations, microchip, heartworm test, and heartworm prevention. He is heartworm-negative and ready to find the loving home he deserves.
Diesel is currently in foster care, and an approved application is required prior to scheduling a meet and greet. If you're interested in making Diesel a part of your family and can provide the type of property that will allow him to thrive, please visit https://www.aforeverhomeanimalrescue.org/adoption-information.html to learn more and submit an application.
Diesel isn't looking for just any home. He's looking for a family with plenty of room in their hearts and plenty of land beneath his paws. Could you be the one to give this gentle giant the Forever Home he's been waiting for? 🐾❤️
