Horace is house trained and does his business promptly outside, although he's still learning to communicate when he needs to go out. He walks well on a leash most of the time, but due to his size, his fosters use a gentle leader to ensure he stays under control. He may get excited and pull suddenly if provoked, so a patient and understanding approach to leash training is necessary.
This loving goofball knows basic commands like sit and comes when called (most of the time), but he can be a bit stubborn during training sessions. With consistent guidance and positive reinforcement, he'll thrive in a loving home environment.
While Horace has been gentle with the children he's met, his size may not be suitable for a home with small children. He's currently around 75 pounds and may continue to grow, as his paws and head are still quite large for his body.
