Breaker is up for adoption in TX, NE and PNW (excluding MA)! Breaker is a 1-year-old, 65-pound Great Dane/Boxer mix with a heart as big as his goofy grin. This splash-happy pup LOVES the water—whether he’s chasing toys into the pool, splashing through a creek, or just romping around the yard, Breaker is always up for adventure. With the playful energy of a Boxer and the gentle, loyal nature of a Dane, he’s the best of both worlds—equal parts fun and affection. Breaker is dog-friendly (with pups his size), loves people, and is happiest when he’s part of the action. He’s making great progress with crate training and is learning his puppy manners, especially when treats are involved. Breaker wasn't given much structure as a pup so, Breaker sometimes tries to play bite to get his way. Even after a board-and-train program, he will need a family committed to consistent, positive reinforcement training to help him reach his full potential. Breaker would thrive in an active home with space to play and maybe even a doggy sibling to share his adventures with. This history has left him shy and cautious at first, but with time, patience, and kindness, Boone reveals his deeply affectionate side. Once he begins to trust, Boone becomes a devoted companion who craves gentle affection and enjoys peaceful moments with his person. He thrives in a calm environment and takes comfort in the presence of other dogs—he gets along wonderfully with canine companions and would benefit from a home with another friendly dog to help boost his confidence. Currently being fostered in Seguin, TX, Boone is looking for a foster or forever home in Central Texas only. Laredo is a very sweet girl with a soft heart and a love for cuddles. She is a new foster home and has adjusted well to the routine and is thriving with guidance. She is a little timid but is coming out of her shell in just a few days. Laredo has not been intrusive to the other dogs in the home and just happy to have a warm spot to snuggle... like your lap! She enjoys playing with both dogs and cats, though big dogs can overwhelm her. Laredo is wonderful with kids and loves chasing them around during playtime. She would thrive in a calm, loving home that can offer comfort, encouragement, and plenty of cozy snuggle sessions. Laredo would do great in a home with another dog that would help with her confidence. Currently in a foster home in Chattanooga, TN, and available for transport to most locations within the continental United States.
