Story
Hi there! My name is Cinderella and I'm a 9 month old female Great Pyrenees/Shepherd mix at the Santa Barbara Campus, eager for a new home! Cinderella's story began to change when her owner had to move to an apartment that didn't allow pets, leaving this sweet girl in search of a new castle to call home. Through it all, she has remained affectionate, social, and eager to share her love with everyone she meets. Once upon a time, a beautiful young pup named Cinderella found herself looking for her happily ever after. This puppy is as sweet as a fairy-tale princess, with a friendly heart and a love for making new friends wherever she goes! Cinderella loves meeting people and is always ready to greet with a wagging tail and a happy smile. She has lived with another dog in her previous home and also enjoys playing with other dogs, making her a great candidate for a home with a canine companion. Like any young princess, Cinderella is still growing into her royal manners. She's playful, energetic, and can get very excited when she's having fun. Because of her enthusiastic greetings and tendency to jump when she's excited, she'd likely do best with kids who can handle her youthful exuberance, though she has lived with children before and done well. Her future family should be prepared for the costs of feeding and caring for a giant breed, have enough space for her, and be committed to ongoing training so she can be a polite companion. If you're looking for a loyal companion with a princess-worthy personality, Cinderella may be ready to trade her shelter kennel for a forever kingdom! Adoptions are open 12pm-4:30pm every day, except Wednesdays, and no appointment is needed. Like all SBH animals, when I am adopted, I will have been spayed or neutered, vaccinated, and microchipped. Adoptions also include a certificate for a complimentary post-adoption veterinary exam from a local clinic and our partners at Hills Science Diet will provide a supply of food for my first few days at home. Need some supplies? Both SB Humane Campuses have retail centers stocked with everything you need, at comparable prices, and your purchase helps support our mission. Hope to see you soon!
