Story
We have two male Newfoundland littermates, Buck and Boyd, who are 14 months old. Unfortunately, they have developed littermate syndrome. While each dog gets along well with the other dog in the household, they do not get along with each other. For both boys to truly thrive, they need to live separately. Buck is a sweet, affectionate boy who absolutely loves his people and plays well with other dogs. He enjoys hiking, swimming, playing ball, and tug, but he’s just as happy leaning into you for pets or curling up for a cuddle. He would thrive with someone who enjoys an active lifestyle and also appreciates a big, loving dog who wants to stay close to his family. Buck is neutered and has known food allergies to beef and chicken, so he does best on a fish-based protein diet. Buck is a purebred Newfoundland and is eligible for AKC registration; we have all the necessary paperwork. He is located in Montana. Our highest priority is finding the right home for him.
