...Ruben was found by a good Samaritan on East Hillsboro Street in Pasco. He was adopted after spending a short time with us, but through no fault of his own, he has found himself back at the shelter and is once again searching for a forever family.He is already neutered and ready to go home today!At about 70 pounds and not quite finished with puppyhood, Ruben is a big, enthusiastic boy with a zest for life. He walks nicely on a leash with minimal pulling and appears to have some formal training under his belt. Extremely food motivated and eager to engage, he`s the kind of dog who will happily work for treats and praise. Toys don`t seem to be his biggest priority—he`d much rather have his nose to the ground, taking in every scent and observing everything happening around him. Ruben is an intelligent, curious dog who truly enjoys exploring the world alongside his people.His previous adopter shared that Ruben is potty and kennel trained and did well living with cats. They also reported that he may not be much of a fan of other dogs. Because we cannot independently confirm or deny those observations, we encourage adopters to meet Ruben and make their own assessment. As always, meet and greets are required between any current dogs in the home and the dog you wish to adopt prior to going home.Ruben has all the makings of an incredible adventure partner—whether that`s hiking trails, weekend road trips, long neighborhood walks, or simply being your loyal sidekick. He forms strong bonds with his people and deserves a family willing to provide the stability, patience, and commitment every dog deserves.Ruben`s adoption fee is $50. He is neutered, microchipped, up to date on age-appropriate vaccines, and treated for fleas, ticks, and worms.Our shelter operates on a first-come, first-served basis.
