You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website.Bean is a tiny little guy with a sensitive soul who is looking for a patient and understanding home. Weighing just 9 pounds and born around April of 2018, he was recently found roaming a neighborhood and brought to safety. Bean can be very nervous and skittish when meeting new people, but with time, patience, and a gentle approach, he begins to come out of his shell and show his sweet nature. He does especially well with other dogs and takes comfort in their presence, which can help him build confidence in a new environment. Bean will need a calm home and a dedicated adopter who understands that trust takes time. With consistency and kindness, he has the potential to form a deep and rewarding bond. His adoption fee is $300. To apply, please visit www.adoggie4you.org . This dog is currently in Texas but can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington, KY, and locations along the East Coast. Please note, there is an additional $225 transport fee. We are unable to transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to state regulations. If you’re looking for a companion who just needs a little extra love and patience to truly shine, Bean could be the perfect match.Visit this organization's web site to see any additional information available about this pet.April 9, 2026, 4:37 pm

Story
Please contact Jamesa (roxysrescue@yahoo.com), 713-882-2610 for more information about this pet.TACO the terrific terrier mix is a solid, great little dog who just loves people and runs around very happy.  TACO was found on the streets of San Antonio, TX by a good Samaritan running the streets.  Just writing about him makes me smile because he is a happy little guy who is enjoying himself and happy to be in the house.  And he is loving running in and out to play and just mingle with the dogs. TACO is just a bit over 1 year old and 14 pounds and has reached his adult height and weight.  I do not expect he will grow any bigger. I do not have any cats so I am not sure how he would get along with them.  I also do not have a doggy door so I let the dogs out often to potty.  I am saying he is not potty trained but I do not give him a chance to have an accident in the house, I let him often.  I would just be safe to say that he will need to be trained.  But he loves treats so it should be pretty east to potty train him.  He is catching on. His coat is very soft and light, not thick.  He would probably benefit from a trim every 3-4 months, not often like a regular grooming. TACO was given his name by the finder's little boy and he perks up when I call him.  He is independent, not all in your face but he is engaging.  I would give him space to settle in and get to know you. He is totally crate trained.  TACO would be a great first pet for anyone as he is easy to get along with and easy to train. If you are interested in adopting TACO, please submit an application on the website below.  Thank you www.roxysk9rescue.org     ADOPTION FEE & APPLICATION REQUIRED   Roxxy's K-9 Rescue does not have a shelter, all of our dogs are raised in foster homes.  Each dog comes  spay/neutered (fixed), rabies shots appropriate for their age, and dewormed twice.  The dogs are up to date on vaccinations according to their age at the time of adoption.  They are microchipped, heartworm tested and on monthly flea/tick and heartworm preventative.  ALL OF THIS IS INCLUDED IN THE ADOPTION FEE. We transport across the United States. Medical records will come with each dog at the time of adoption. Our organization is run by volunteers/foster parents, please be patient to give us time to respond to your emails and/or phone calls.  We will reply to you.  Thank you.         April 9, 2026, 5:05 pm

You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Meeko, a gentle Norfolk Terrier mix with a tender heart and a quiet spirit. Born on March 10, 2025, and weighing 14.7 pounds, Meeko is the shyest of his group, but beneath that timid exterior is a sweet pup just waiting to feel safe and loved. Meeko came from a home with 29 dogs where he was well cared for, but he didn’t get much socialization. Because of this, he’s still learning how to navigate the world and what it means to be part of a family. New people and experiences can feel overwhelming at first, and he may come across as a bit standoffish—but give him a little time and patience, and you’ll see him slowly begin to trust and open up. He is working on walking on a leash and building confidence, and he’ll need a calm, understanding home that will continue to guide him at his own pace. Meeko does warm up, just a bit more cautiously, and every small step forward is a big victory for him. For the right person or family, helping Meeko come out of his shell will be an incredibly rewarding journey. His adoption fee is $350, and you can apply to adopt him at www.adoggie4you.org . If you have a patient heart and a gentle approach, Meeko is ready to find comfort, security, and love with you. This dog is currently in Texas; however, it can be transported to Washington, Portland (Oregon), Minneapolis, Milwaukee, Chicago, Des Moines, Omaha, Cincinnati, Lexington KY or all along the East Coast. If transported, there is an additional transport fee of $250. We do not transport to Rhode Island or Massachusetts due to their regulations. Story
You can fill out an adoption application online on our official website. Meet Mitchell! Mitchell is a quiet Norfolk Terrier mix with a beautiful red coat and the personality of a pixie warrior. Born around March 10, 2025, this charming boy weighs only 10.0 pounds, making him a great small sized companion for a loving home. Mitchell came from a hoarding situation where he was one of 29 dogs, so life hasn’t always been easy for him. Because of that, he may take a few minutes to warm up to new people. But once you approach him gently and offer slow, reassuring pets, you’ll see his guard melt away—and that’s when his affectionate side shines through. Sadly, Mitchell did not receive heartworm prevention earlier in life and tested heartworm positive. The good news is that he has already been treated and is doing well! He just needs to take medication for 30 more days to complete his recovery and get back to feeling his best. Mitchell gets along wonderfully with other dogs and truly enjoys their company. He is very smart and eager to connect with people, especially once he feels safe. With a patient and loving family willing to give him time to adjust, he will grow into a loyal and devoted companion. He’s still learning some basics, including walking on a leash, but with consistency and kindness he will quickly improve. If you’re ready to give a deserving pup a second chance and a lifetime of love, Mitchell may be the perfect fit for your family.
